Overview
Emvigo Probe is a ready-to-run Amazon Machine Image for self-hosted uptime monitoring. Built on Ubuntu with Docker, it launches Emvigo Probe so you can track websites, APIs, DNS endpoints, TCP services, response times, and SSL certificates from an EC2 instance you control. Monitoring data stays in your AWS account.
After launch, open the Probe web interface on port 3001, create your own administrator account, and add monitors from the dashboard. Probe supports status pages, availability history, and configurable notifications to email, chat, and incident-management services. There is no default username or password.
Emvigo Probe is designed for DevOps teams, IT operations, developers, and managed service providers that want straightforward service monitoring without a separate hosted platform. Emvigo Probe packages Uptime Kuma, an independent open-source project distributed under the MIT License, and is not an official Uptime Kuma product.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance.
