What does one hourly unit cover for a general-purpose option like m5.large?
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of that size, billed per hour. You pay for the preconfigured image running on that instance. A t3.large charges for one t3.large-hour; an m5.xlarge charges for one m5.xlarge-hour. Instance size and family determine the hourly rate.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or not running?
No software charge applies while the instance is stopped. Billing meters running time only, so you pay hourly just while the instance runs. There is no long-term commitment. Note that AWS may still charge for attached storage while the instance is stopped, separate from this software.
Do I pay Cloudwrxs directly, and are the Oracle Database licenses included?
You do not pay Cloudwrxs directly. Any charges are collected through the cloud provider on your AWS bill. Where a license is required, the vendor notes it in the product listing. Review the listing details to confirm what license coverage applies before you deploy.

Connecting to the EC2 Instance.
2.1. Connection Prerequisites - Have your SSH private key (.pem) file available - Default login user: cloud-user - Server settings: Password login is disabled (PasswordAuthentication no) Root login is disabled (PermitRootLogin no) - SSH is available on port 22.
2.2. For Linux/macOS Users (Terminal) ssh -i /path/to/your-key.pem cloud-user@<EC2_Public_IP> - Replace /path/to/your-key.pem with your key path - Replace <EC2_Public_IP> with your EC2 public IP - Set correct permissions if needed: chmod 400 /path/to/your-key.pem
2.3. For Windows Users (Using PuTTY) - Convert .pem to .ppk using PuTTYgen - In PuTTY: Host Name: cloud-user@<EC2_Public_IP> Port: 22 Load your .ppk key under Connection - SSH - Auth.
