AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for Oracle Linux 10.1 with support from TIOV IT. Pricing follows the AWS EC2 instance type you choose to run the image on. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so your rate rises as you select instances with more compute, memory, storage, or accelerators. Small burstable types like t3.nano or t2.micro sit at the low end. Large memory, storage, GPU, and bare-metal types such as u7in-32tb.224xlarge or p5.48xlarge sit higher. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs, with no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly rate actually cover — the operating system, the support, or the underlying instance?
Each hourly rate covers the Oracle Linux 10.1 image and TIOV IT support for the instance type you pick. You pay this software rate per running hour. The underlying AWS EC2 compute is billed separately by AWS. The two charges appear together but are distinct line items.
Am I charged the hourly software rate when an instance is stopped or paused?
The software rate meters running hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue this hourly software charge. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but that is an AWS fee, not the software rate you select here.
If I switch my workload to a different instance type, how does my bill change?
Your software rate follows whichever instance type runs the image at that time. Move to a smaller type and the hourly rate drops for those hours. Move to a larger memory, storage, GPU, or bare-metal type and the rate rises. Billing tracks each instance's actual running hours.
