This API allows to check the validity of TIN (Tax Identification Number) numbers. The vaildity is assesed based on the pubilcally available specifications published by the OECD for the purpose of CRS (Common Reporting Standard) and, in some cases, other publically available information when the validity check can be improvded.

This API isn't connected to any domestic database of any of the available countries and only checks the TIN based on lenght, structure and in many cases also on complex checksum algorithms.
This is the standard approach for CRS and FATCA reporting in the banking and finance industry.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract pricing uses two dimensions that work together. Product Access grants you the right to use the API as a subscriber. The Per API request dimension charges you for each validation call you make. Your usage cost scales with the number of Tax Identification Number checks you send. Higher volumes lower the price per additional check, so bulk validation reduces per-request cost. Together, these dimensions cover both baseline access and ongoing usage, letting your total cost track the number of TIN validations your workflows require.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one API request for billing?
One API request is a single call to validate a Tax Identification Number. Each validation call you send counts as one request. If you check multiple TIN formats in one call, that may count as one request, letting you pay less per additional check in bulk.
How do the Product Access and Per API request charges combine on my bill?
Both charges apply together. Product Access grants your subscription rights to use the API. The Per API request charge meters each validation call you make. Usage volume drives your variable cost, while Product Access covers baseline access. Both appear on the same invoice.
Does my per-request cost change as I send more TIN validations?
Yes. Higher volumes lower the price for each additional check. When you validate more Tax Identification Numbers or check multiple formats at once, you pay less per request. This bulk saving reduces your per-request cost as usage grows.
