    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for a preconfigured Kali Linux XFCE Desktop machine image. Software costs run per hour and depend only on the EC2 instance type you launch. Each dimension maps to one AWS instance size, so pricing scales with the compute, memory, storage, or GPU capacity of the instance you pick. Smaller general-purpose instances cost less per hour, while large memory, storage, or accelerated instances cost more. You are not locked into a term commitment; usage-based billing lets you start and stop as needed and pay only for the hours you run.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each hourly rate covers the preconfigured Kali Linux XFCE Desktop image running on one EC2 instance. You pay for one instance of the size you launch, billed per hour it runs. The rate is tied to that specific instance type's compute, memory, storage, or GPU capacity.
The hourly software fee meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue software charges. You may still owe underlying AWS fees, such as storage for the attached volume, but the Kali Linux image charge applies just to the hours the instance runs.
Each dimension maps to one instance size, so switching instance types changes your hourly rate. Larger memory, storage, or GPU instances carry a higher hourly rate; smaller general-purpose ones carry a lower rate. You are not locked in and can change instance types between runs.
