Send alerts from your scripts and services to a notification server you own. Gotify 3.1.1 on Ubuntu 24.04 has a web UI, REST API and WebSocket stream behind HTTPS with a per-instance certificate and a generated admin password.
Own your notifications. This image runs the Gotify server with HTTPS, a per-instance certificate and an admin password generated on first boot, so scripts and services can push messages to a web UI you control.
Launch this version on t3.medium with at least 16 GiB encrypted root storage and at least 2 GiB RAM. Connect with AWS Systems Manager Session Manager. You land as ssm-user; run sudo -iu ubuntu to switch to the ubuntu account. SSH is off: no key pair is attached and no inbound rule is needed. First boot writes this instance's TLS certificate, private key, and admin password, then starts Gotify. Nothing sensitive is baked into the image. HTTPS listens on 127.0.0.1:8443 only. Plain HTTP on 127.0.0.1:8080 redirects to HTTPS. Keep passwords and tokens out of recordings and tickets.
The standard software fee is described in the AWS Marketplace offer terms. EC2, EBS and data-transfer charges are billed separately. See the offer terms for applicable billing promotions.
After launch, wait for cloud-init to finish, then follow the bundled README for configuration, backup and day-2 operations. Registration and plugins are off.
Reach it from other machines: Gotify listens on loopback. To reach it from phones or other hosts, put a proxy you control in front of it, or change the listen addresses in server.env, use a certificate your clients trust and allow only your own network in the security group. Keep registration off.
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for independent AWS packaging, validation, maintenance and setup documentation. jmattheis and the Gotify project publish Gotify server under MIT. Software Sushi supplies the AMI recipe, a pinned source-built linux/amd64 derivative identified as 3.1.1-sushi1, first-boot TLS and admin identity, loopback-only defaults, and setup documentation. This build is not the official release ELF and does not claim upstream endorsement.
Highlights

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Try this product free for 5 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
You pay one usage-based rate for this product. Billing is tied to each running instance-hour on the t3.medium instance size. There are no separate tiers or add-ons to choose from. The hourly software charge applies only while the instance runs, so your cost scales with how long you keep it on. AWS infrastructure such as EC2, EBS, and data transfer is billed separately from this software charge. Check the listing for the current rate and any free trial.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What hardware do I get on the t3.medium instance size, and how is time counted?
The software runs on an AWS t3.medium EC2 instance, a general-purpose size with 2 vCPUs and 4 GB of memory. Billing counts each hour the instance runs. The software charge accrues while the instance is on, measured in instance-hours.
Am I charged while the instance is stopped or powered off?
The software charge meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the software charge. Note that AWS may still bill EBS storage and other infrastructure for a stopped instance, since those costs are separate from the software charge.
What is not included in the software charge?
The software charge covers the packaged Gotify server only. AWS infrastructure such as EC2, EBS, and data transfer is billed separately by AWS. The offer does not include Gotify project support, and you provide your own credentials and settings after launch.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
Gotify v3.1.1 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, packaged by Software Sushi. The guided demo no longer adds data to your Gotify database. The documentation under /opt/sushi/docs is root-owned and a first-login guide appears after sudo -iu ubuntu. Connect with Session Manager, run sudo -iu ubuntu, then bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh. Configure your own provider keys and models privately after launch.

Usage instructions
Launch t3.medium (16 GiB or larger encrypted gp3, IMDSv2) with an instance profile that has AmazonSSMManagedInstanceCore and outbound HTTPS. No inbound rules are needed. Copy-paste launch kit (role, security group, run-instances, CloudFormation): https://docs.softwaresushi.com/launch-kit/
Connect: aws ssm start-session --target <instance-id>. You land as ssm-user; sudo -iu ubuntu switches to the ubuntu account and shows the first-login guide. After cloud-init finishes, run: sudo -iu ubuntu bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh (expect a final line ending in DEMO_PASSED).
Use it: Open the web UI through the port forward below, sign in as admin, create an application and send a message with its token.
Secrets and access: The admin user is admin; read the password with: sudo cat /etc/gotify/admin.password. Open the web UI by forwarding port 8443 and browsing to it over HTTPS: aws ssm start-session --target <instance-id> --document-name AWS-StartPortForwardingSession --parameters '{"portNumber":["8443"],"localPortNumber":["8443"]}'
Reach it from another host: Gotify listens on loopback. Either put a proxy you control in front of it, or change the listen addresses in server.env, use a certificate your clients trust and allow only your own network in the security group. Keep registration off.

Typesense is a fast, typo-tolerant search engine for product catalogs, documentation and site search. This Ubuntu 24.04 AMI runs single-node Typesense behind a private HTTPS API with a per-instance TLS certificate and access credentials, so developers can index data and run filtered, faceted search in their own AWS account.
Finds and removes Brazilian personal data (CPF, CNPJ, RG, names, addresses, phones, bank details, vehicle plates and more) from Portuguese text, inside your own AWS account, with no network access. Real-time endpoints and batch jobs over JSON Lines, CSV and plain-text files.
Sushi ML Studio is no-code machine learning that runs in your browser, on your own EC2 instance. Upload a CSV or Excel file, pick the column you want to predict, and it trains and compares against many scikit-learn models, tells you in plain language how good the best one is, and adds predictions to new spreadsheets. Your data never leaves the instance, and you keep the model file and the Python code that reproduces it.
