1Kosmos BlockID serves as our main passwordless authentication solution for both employee and external users. We use 1Kosmos BlockID daily to let employees securely log in to corporate applications using biometric authentication instead of passwords.
What is most valuable?
The best features of 1Kosmos BlockID are passwordless authentication, biometric identity verification, and seamless integration with enterprise applications for secure access.
Passwordless authentication has made the biggest impact for our team as it significantly reduced login issues and helped users access applications faster with less reliance on IT support.
The combination of strong security and ease of use has been one of the most valuable aspects of the platform for our team. 1Kosmos BlockID has improved our security posture while reducing password-related help desk requests and streamlining user access across applications.
We have seen password-related help desk tickets drop by roughly 40%, and employees now spend noticeably less time dealing with login and account recovery issues.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for 1Kosmos BlockID is for authentication. Before 1Kosmos BlockID , we were using password authentication. After using 1Kosmos BlockID, we transitioned to passwordless authentication, which includes face unlock and fingerprint authentication through 1Kosmos BlockID.
1Kosmos BlockID is used for employee login using passkeys or FIDO2 authentication instead of passwords or security questions. It also helps in customer identification and identity verification by uploading IDs, taking selfies, and performing live detection to confirm that users are real.
What is most valuable?
The transition to 1Kosmos BlockID has improved our workflow and reduced the tickets raised on a daily basis. Before implementing it, several tickets were raised every day for password resets or forgotten passwords. After using 1Kosmos BlockID, all these issues were resolved.
1Kosmos BlockID has impacted my organization positively because we previously used password authentication where anyone could easily forget their password. Additionally, hackers could compromise accounts using passwords. After using 1Kosmos BlockID, these problems were resolved.

What do you like best about the product?
Really good for biometric identification and passwordless login.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is on the higher side, so it’s not suitable for small R&D teams. I also need an additional learning session because it’s a bit complex to use, and the documentation isn’t sufficient.

What is our primary use case?
My main use for 1Kosmos BlockID was a project in which we had to develop a facial recognition system for another company at the gate of their building. After the facial recognition was completed, we encrypted all of that data and stored it into a database where it was possible to access and review who entered the building.
What is most valuable?
In my experience with 1Kosmos BlockID , the system was very accurate, with facial recognition working correctly approximately 99% of the time, and the platform is very user-friendly.
The user-friendly aspect of 1Kosmos BlockID is straightforward enough for any user and was very handy for finance and HR departments, and it is not necessary to be a tech person to operate it.
Regarding the metrics with 1Kosmos BlockID, I have to say that we saved 80% of the allocation budget for this project, and the time saved was at least 40%.
What needs improvement?
1Kosmos BlockID is fine as it is. However, it could potentially reach a full 100% accuracy rate for facial recognition.
