Customer reviews
Writing has become smoother and grammar improves while collaboration and workload handling still grow
What is our primary use case?
I typically use Writer for writing in my work. I use Writer for writing fictional stories and novels. It makes my work much easier.
What is most valuable?
Writer helps me correct my words. When I make a mistake while writing, or if there is a missing comma or full stop, I am able to use Writer to make my work much neater and my grammar much more correct.
Writer helps me catch mistakes through automatic correction. Whenever I write and there is a mistake, it shows a red line asking me to correct misspelled words. This helps me catch those mistakes so I could correct them myself.
Writer has helped my organization positively. For example, we use it when sending emails for marketing. Before we send our organized words to clients outside to partner with us, we make sure that we use Writer to make it much smoother and correct. This ensures that we are using the correct grammar.
What needs improvement?
I think for now, Writer is still undergoing improvement, so I feel fairly satisfied with it at this stage.
For the proofreading part, I think Writer could add a chat box where someone who wants to partner with me in proofreading could chat with me while making corrections.
I think Writer needs to develop more for its scalability to handle growing workloads or more users easily. However, to some extent, it should be able to handle a little bit of workload, but not too much.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Writer for three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The only time I have experienced issues with Writer is when my connection is down. I feel that even without a strong connection, Writer should be able to work well so that when my connection returns, I would not lose most of my write-ups.
Writer is stable and it works reliably for me, except when my connection is not that strong.
How are customer service and support?
The customer support for Writer is not super fast, but to some extent, their user support is somewhat helpful. I sometimes do not even have issues reaching out to customer care support most times because Writer actually works well for me.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Negative
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I switched to Writer because the previous solution's site was down at that period, and the previous solution did not work as much as Writer, so I quit using it and decided to come back to Writer.
What was our ROI?
I have not seen much return on investment for Writer because my use is just for my work. It is left for the organization to decide on that.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with Writer's pricing, setup cost, and licensing is actually very challenging. However, since I work in an organization, it is less challenging because I have colleagues with whom we actually collaborate to make it work. Regarding pricing, since I work in an organization, everything was majorly handled by the CEO.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Writer, I did not evaluate other options because Writer was able to solve half of my problems, so I did not see any need to consider other options. It was my first option.
What other advice do I have?
The only advice I would give to others looking forward to using Writer is that Writer is very reliable, which is why I gave it a rating of seven out of ten. I feel that for others trying to look into using Writer, they should consider trying Writer because it has come to my aid at some point. I think they should actually consider using Writer because it has helped me over the years to shape my words, help me with grammatical structure, and word construction. I think Writer is cool and to me, there is nothing like perfection, but over the years, Writer is actually good and they are trying their best. My overall rating for Writer is seven out of ten.
