This product has charges associated with it for providing dedicated seller support and advanced OS hardening by Blume in line with ANSSI compliance. The ANSSI High Level CentOS 10 AMI delivers a compliance-ready, security-hardened operating system built for stability and assurance in production environments.
This is a repackaged software product wherein additional charges apply for dedicated seller support and advanced operating system hardening by Blume.
Our AMIs are specifically hardened to meet ANSSI compliance at the level you select - whether High Level or Minimal Level. The High Level configuration provides maximum security reinforcement for production environments handling sensitive workloads, while the Minimal Level configuration balances essential compliance requirements with performance flexibility.
The Agence Nationale de la Securite des Systemes dInformation ANSSI is the French National Cybersecurity Agency, responsible for defining and maintaining strict guidelines for securing information systems. Its recommended hardening guidelines establish a baseline of security controls designed to minimize vulnerabilities and enforce system integrity.
Minimal Level hardening applies a core set of baseline controls that improve operating system security while maintaining flexibility and compatibility across a wide range of environments.
High Level hardening applies the most stringent set of controls, focusing on maximum resilience and compliance for environments where security assurance is critical.
Achieving ANSSI compliance matters because it ensures that your operating system is configured against recognized security baselines, reducing vulnerabilities, strengthening resilience against attacks, and meeting regulatory or industry mandated governance standards. With Blumes hardening, you can trust that your OS is built to align with strict compliance expectations from the start.
Finally, our operating systems are not only compliance ready but are also consistently updated, ensuring that the latest security patches are applied in a timely manner to maintain protection and reliability in production environments.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. The software price is the same regardless of instance; your hourly cost scales with the compute capacity you pick. Options span ARM-based instance families built for general-purpose, compute, memory, storage, and accelerated workloads. Sizes range from small shared instances up to bare-metal configurations. Larger instances carry more CPU, memory, and throughput, so their hourly rates are higher. You choose one instance type to match your workload, then pay only for the hours you use, with no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What exactly am I paying for in each hourly instance type, like c8g.4xlarge?
Each instance type names an EC2 size with set CPU, memory, and network capacity. The hourly software charge covers the hardened CentOS 10 ARM image and seller support. Larger sizes carry more compute, so their rates run higher. You pick one type to match your workload.
Am I charged the software rate when my instance is stopped or powered off?
The hourly software charge applies only while the instance runs. Fully stopped instances stop accruing the software fee. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage costs for attached volumes, but the software meters running time only. You pay with no upfront commitment.
Does the image price change if I switch to a larger instance size later?
The image carries one hourly software rate per instance type, set by that type's compute capacity. Moving to a size with more CPU, memory, or throughput raises your hourly cost. You are not locked in; you select the type each time you launch.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
This is the initial release of the Blume's CentOS 10, providing a hardened, compliance-ready operating system.

Usage instructions
We recommend scoping your launched EC2 instance to only your internal network and restricting access to your own IP address for maximum security.
How to Connect to Your CentOS 10 Instance Using SSH:
Locate your key pair: Ensure you have the .pem key pair file selected when launching the instance. Save it securely on your local machine.
Set permissions: Update the file permissions on the key file so it is not publicly viewable. Example: chmod 400 your-key.pem
Find the public DNS or IP: In the AWS Management Console, open the EC2 Dashboard and locate the Public DNS (IPv4) or Public IP of your instance.
Connect with SSH: From your terminal, run the following command, replacing your-key.pem with your key file and <public-dns> with your instance details: ssh -i your-key.pem ec2-user@<public-dns>
Accept the fingerprint: When prompted, confirm the fingerprint to establish the first-time connection.
You are now connected to your CentOS 10 instance via SSH.
