Nginx is a web server that can also be used as a reverse proxy, load balancer, mail proxy and HTTP cache.
This Linux image provided is tailored for enterprise-level performance on AWS, containing an installation of Nginx, the necessary packages to operate an SSH Server and permit user logins. The most recent security updates from the team are incorporated. Root login is deactivated, with only the default user granted access via SSH public key authentication.

Connecting to the VM:
To connect to your instance, you will need to use SSH over port 22. The default username for connecting is ubuntu. For further information about the standard AWS method of connecting to an instance, see information described here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/AccessingInstances.html
Accessing nginx
Nginx is installed on this instance. To configure Nginx and check its version, begin by editing the main configuration file, typically located at /etc/nginx/nginx.conf, using your preferred text editor, such as sudo nano /etc/nginx/nginx.conf. After making the desired changes, apply the new settings by reloading the Nginx service with the command sudo systemctl reload nginx. To verify the installed Nginx version, execute the command nginx -v.
