This product has charges associated with it for providing dedicated seller support and OS-level hardening by Blume in line with ACSC ISM Secret compliance. The ACSC ISM Secret Red Hat 10 AMI delivers a compliance-ready operating system with stricter security controls designed for environments handling sensitive classified workloads.
This is a repackaged software product wherein additional charges apply for dedicated seller support and operating system hardening by Blume.
Our AMIs are specifically hardened to meet ACSC ISM Secret compliance, as defined in the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Information Security Manual (ISM). The ISM Secret level builds upon the Base level with more stringent configuration requirements designed for handling classified workloads that require heightened security assurance.
Controls at the Secret level include stronger access restrictions, advanced system auditing, enhanced encryption, and monitoring measures to minimize exposure to cyber threats and unauthorized access.
By adopting the ISM Secret level, organizations demonstrate compliance alignment with stricter Australian government security standards and can operate with increased confidence in protecting sensitive workloads.
Finally, our operating systems are not only compliance ready but are also consistently updated, ensuring that the latest security patches are applied in a timely manner to maintain protection and reliability in production environments.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for this Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 image hardened to ACSC ISM Secret controls, built for ARM-based instances. Pricing has one structure: an hourly software rate attached to the AWS EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension names a specific ARM instance size, from small general-purpose types up to bare-metal and high-core configurations. The rate scales with the instance you choose, since larger instances carry more compute, memory, or storage. You select the instance that fits your workload, and billing follows your actual running hours.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What am I charged for when my instance is stopped or powered off?
The hourly software rate meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue software charges. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume while the instance is stopped, but the image licence bills only the hours the instance actually runs.
What does one hourly unit cover on this listing?
Each unit is one running hour of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 image hardened to ACSC ISM Secret controls, running on the ARM instance type you selected. The rate includes seller support by Blume. You pick one instance size per deployment, and billing follows that instance's running hours.
Does buying this image mean my deployed workload is certified or compliant with ACSC ISM Secret?
No. The image applies operating-system hardening mapped to ACSC ISM Secret controls. That describes the image configuration scope only. It does not establish that your deployed workload or wider environment is certified, authorized, or compliant. You remain responsible for your environment's assessment.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes

Usage instructions
We recommend scoping your launched EC2 instance to only your internal network and restricting access to your own IP address for maximum security.
How to Connect to Your Red Hat 10 Instance Using SSH:
Locate your key pair: Ensure you have the .pem key pair file selected when launching the instance. Save it securely on your local machine.
Set permissions: Update the file permissions on the key file so it is not publicly viewable. Example: chmod 400 your-key.pem
Find the public DNS or IP: In the AWS Management Console, open the EC2 Dashboard and locate the Public DNS (IPv4) or Public IP of your instance.
Connect with SSH: From your terminal, run the following command, replacing your-key.pem with your key file and <public-dns> with your instance details: ssh -i your-key.pem ec2-user@<public-dns>
Accept the fingerprint: When prompted, confirm the fingerprint to establish the first-time connection.
You are now connected to your Red Hat 10 instance via SSH.
