This listing bills per hour at no charge across every dimension, matching the Free pricing model. Each dimension maps to a specific Amazon EC2 instance type, from small general-purpose sizes to large compute, memory, storage, and accelerated instances. You pick the dimension that matches the EC2 instance where the runtime sensor runs. Pricing does not scale by tier or feature set. Instead, it aligns to the instance type you deploy on, so the same sensor covers any supported instance size. All dimensions share the same hourly billing unit.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one billing unit for this runtime sensor?
Each dimension maps to one Amazon EC2 instance type, billed per hour. A unit is one running instance of that type where the sensor is deployed. You match the dimension to the instance size, from small general-purpose to large accelerated or memory-focused instances.
Am I charged for the sensor when the EC2 instance is stopped?
Every dimension carries no software charge under the Free pricing model, so no sensor cost accrues whether the instance runs or stops. Underlying AWS charges for the instance itself and its storage still apply and are billed separately by AWS.
Does my cost change if I run the sensor on a larger EC2 instance?
No. Every instance type dimension bills at no charge per hour. The sensor cost does not scale with instance size, tier, or feature set. You select the dimension matching your instance only for accurate metering, not for a price difference.
