AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the container hour, so billing tracks the time each container runs. This is usage-based pricing with a single dimension and no upfront commitment. The platform runs as containers you deploy in your own environment. Because the components share nothing, you scale the part that is slow by running more of it. Running more containers, or running them longer, raises your hours and your cost. Deploying fewer components, or running them for less time, lowers it. Your total depends entirely on how many container hours you consume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one container hour for billing?
A container hour is one hour of runtime for one deployed container. The platform runs three container types: one authors the model, Transformers run the mappings, and Writers load the graph. Each running container accrues its own hours. Two containers running one hour each equals two container hours.
Can I run only some components to limit how many container hours I use?
Yes. The components share nothing, so you deploy only the ones you need and leave out the rest. Running the modelling container without the load containers produces files only. Each deployed container accrues hours separately, so fewer deployed containers means fewer billed hours.
If one component is slow, how does scaling it affect my cost?
You scale by running more copies of the slow component, since Transformers and Writers hold no state between runs. Each added container runs its own hours and adds to your total. Throughput becomes a scaling decision, and more concurrent containers raise your container hours.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
AWS Support is a one-on-one, fast-response support channel that is staffed 24x7x365 with experienced and technical support engineers. The service helps customers of all sizes and technical abilities to successfully utilize the products and features provided by Amazon Web Services.
