Easily deploy Jitsi Meet with AWS infrastructure: a self-hosted, secure, and scalable video conferencing platform with built-in recording, designed for enterprises, education, and remote teams. With Jitsi Meet, you maintain full control over your infrastructure, user data, and meeting content all within your own AWS account.
Our pre-configured AMI enables rapid deployment and seamless operation of Jitsi Meet, optimized for up to 100 concurrent users. The deployment includes a primary server with Jitsi Meet and Jitsi Video Bridge (JVB) installed, and a secondary Jibri server for recording one meeting at a time. Recordings are automatically uploaded to your configured AWS S3 bucket. This setup is also bundled with an AWS CloudWatch monitoring dashboard in addition to core Jitsi components.

You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you run. This listing supports 100 concurrent users with recording. Pricing scales with the compute size you choose, not with a fixed tier. The c5 and c5a options are compute-focused instances in large, xlarge, and 2xlarge sizes. The t3 and t3a options are general-purpose instances in small, medium, large, xlarge, and 2xlarge sizes. Larger sizes carry higher hourly rates. The deployment runs several instances together, so your total cost combines the hourly rate across all running servers plus standard AWS charges.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The setup launches four servers: one for Jitsi Meet, one for Jibri recording, and two for JVB media routing. Your hourly cost combines the rate for each running instance. Recommended sizes are a small instance for Meet, a medium for Jibri, and an xlarge for JVB.
Software charges meter by running instance-hours. When you stop all four servers, hourly charges stop accruing. You can restart them later from the EC2 console. Stopped instances may still incur standard AWS storage fees for attached volumes and stored recordings.
Recordings save to an S3 bucket you choose during setup. The Jibri server captures the meeting, then uploads the file to your bucket. Recording storage is billed by AWS separately from the hourly instance charges shown in the pricing table.

Jitsi Meet 100 concurrent user video conferencing setup with recording
The cloudformation script will deploy Jitsi Meet and Jitsi Video Bridge in a single server and deploy 1 Jibri recording server. This scripts using IAM role permission to push metrics to cloudwatch and push file to s3 bucket

The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). Usage instructions
Click the "View Purchase Options" button. After that, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on "Accept Terms" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on "Continue to Configuration". Select your preferred region in "Configure this software" page and click "Continue to Launch" button. From the "Choose Action" dropdown menu, select "Launch CloudFormation", and then click "Launch". Fill the data and continue to deploy the product.
Access the application via a browser at http://<domain-name>. To generate SSL certificates first point dns to server, login to the instance and run certbot --nginx. To ssh, use port 22 and the username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is required for SSL generation. IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the meet and jibri services. IAM policy assigned to instances for push metrics to cloudwatch dashboard, push recordings to S3 bucket and change volume type of jibris.
