Overview
An Aggregator consolidates data from Collectors, while providing data retention and management capabilities through export, archive, and purge operations. Optionally, an Aggregator can also be designated as a Central Manager, allowing for top-down administration of all Guardium instances and a holistic view of stored data across the environment - all from a single location.

We recommend using IBM Security Guardium version 11.2 plus any new fix bundles from Fix Central. Older versions are made available for archival purposes and may contain bugs and/or security vulnerabilities. Security bulletins contain instructions for the security vulnerability addressed therein, and may require upgrading to a newer version. I would say it's an powerful platform for data security, specially for monitoring and threat detection this platform gives you full control over your data
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a easiest tool if you want for something light because it's little complex with setup you need to have a good knowledge or have a skilled person to handle it. But for enterprises with serious data security requirements this is the best platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user the main issue ibm solved for me is getting me proper visibility and control of my data. Before I was not aware of where the sensitive data is stored or was it fully compliant with regulations.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Guardium provides excellent visibility and monitoring capabilities for sensitive data across databases. It also plays vital role in ensuring compliance regulations like GDPR,HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. The real time alerts and comprehensive audit logs makes it easier to prevent unauthorised access. Its ability to connect with multiple data sources makes it flexible adds strong value for enterprises.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can feel a little daunting to first time users and the initial setup requires significant time and expertise. Some reports take longer to generate and performance can slow down in larger infrastructures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Guardium helps organizations address compliance challenges by tracking and auditing sensitive data activity.
It minimizes exposure to potential breaches by detecting unusual activity in real time and allows clients to meet regulatory requirements more effectively. From a consulting perspective,it enables me to provide clients with actionable insights into their data security posture and recommend improvements backed by accurate reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
The first thing is monitor and protect the sensitive data, and the main thing is versatile work on many database and cloud system at one place so it is easy for user to connect different cloud, early detect the risk is also the point I like about IBM guardian
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system can be very complex for new users or for those who don’t work with it regularly. They may forget how it works, so it requires skilled or experienced staff. Cost can also be a concern for smaller companies, and if the system is not properly tuned by skilled users, it can slow down performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It addresses the security concerns of sensitive data in databases, and this benefiting me to protecting it from threats and unwanted risks on my sensitive data

What do you like best about the product?
The threat response system of this platform is the best what I like about it. Apart from it the ease it provide with managing different guidlines like GDPR, HIPAA, etc is very helpful for me personally.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem I face with this platform is the less availablity of resources, although the company is quick to respond in case for any reported issue. Thus increasing the the learning curve.Also the database gets full quickly if not monitored, hence requiring a almost everyday monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me in managing my organization databases, and cloud platform, keeping them secure and monitoring them.The main use case for me is the threat response and detection system.
