    Overview

    Play video

OpsLevel is a developer portal for teams to catalog, build, and operate their service ecosystem. With solutions to standardize and build microservices, the OpsLevel platform helps engineering teams reduce development friction and increase their speed of delivery. Now you can understand the impact of changes to EC2 and Kubernetes clusters on your software and services running in production.

OpsLevel maturity features replace production readiness checklists, giving mission-critical visibility into what needs attention and who to turn to. If you want to enforce standards across your teams, OpsLevel will help you release software with the recommended standards for reliability, security, observability, scalability, and quality.

In days, you can catalog services, measure risks and dependencies, and drive change, all from a single platform.

    Highlights

    • Catalog your entire production infrastructure with our AWS EKS integration. Track standards with our AWS ECR integration.
    • Automatically build and maintain your software catalog and unblock developers with self-service Templates and Actions. Your engineers will be able to take action on things that would normally get stuck in a queue like provisioning an S3 bucket.
    • Check software health automatically and see which services need attention in one single place. This visibility allows for both platform and admin teams to see the current status while the software owners can get actionable insights to help them fix or bolster their services.

    Information Technology and Services

A very good developer portal for our usecase

    Reviewed on Aug 07, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Extensibility and many APIs to cover many information sources and types in order to add as many data points for the services as possible.
Starting using it primarily for service ownership, then added service tiers and checks in order to also focus on service quality.
Opslevel team taking feedback into consideration and improving the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are still being worked on and don't offer the full support we'd want at this point - e.g. versioning support for documentation or other types of documentation (REST being the only type currently supported).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Service ownership, single pane of glass with links to information about services and also service quality gating based on checks.

What do you like best about the product?
ops level is a great tool for us developers, it helps us clearly know who owns what and to see where things stand. It's helped us to clearly track our projects
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing, i love ops level - it is such a fantastic tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
understanding where our projects sit and how far along they are. We are able to track budgets for our projects
    Computer Software

Easy to use dashboard to link everything

    Reviewed on Aug 04, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
OpsLevel provides real-time insights into the health and performance of services, enabling teams to proactively identify and address issues before they escalate. It links all (most) of the tools we use to provide a single place to overview the health of our systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
For teams new to the platform, there is a learning curve to understand its features and functionalities, which initially slowed down adoption. Continuous management and updates are required to ensure that OpsLevel remains effective and aligned with evolving operational needs gives it a feeling that the "job is never done"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By providing the single point of access to overview most of our systems, it's allowed us to quickly identify where there might be problems when something goes wrong. It does however, require a lot of configuration and there is quite a lot of room for error.
    Events Services

Change management and standardization made easy!

    Reviewed on Aug 03, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love the feature to notify other dependencies about breaking changes that are incoming so that they can respond appropriately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that rules allowed regex statements so that I could check for directories that are present and that check would be case insensitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Change management and standardization. We can easily standardize our various projects across a base set of rules. We can also notify dependencies of incoming breaking changes.
    Computer Software

OpsLevel has helped us a lot with service operations

    Reviewed on Aug 03, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with services git repos so we can easily update details like documentation, dashboards, and alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It usually takes a long time to sync changes in the opslevel yml file when it gets updated in the repo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization of operations for software services my company owns. It is benefiting me because it saves me time on finding all the information I need when I'm on call.
