Dimensions summary
You choose between two editions, priced per computer as a one-time license. The Windows Desktop Edition installs on individual Windows workstations, where the mapped cloud drive stays local to that machine. The Windows Server Edition installs on Windows Server systems and lets you share mapped drives with other users on the network. Both editions cover the same cloud storage access; the choice depends on your operating system and whether you need network sharing. You pay separately for each computer where you install the software.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One unit is one computer where you install the software. The license is per computer, so each workstation running the Desktop Edition or each Windows Server running the Server Edition needs its own unit. Installing on more machines means buying more units.
The Windows Desktop Edition runs on Windows 7 through 11, and the mapped drive stays local to that workstation. The Windows Server Edition runs on Windows Server 2008 R2 through 2022. It lets you share mapped drives with other users on the local network. Both support the same cloud storage providers.
No. The per-computer license covers only the software that mounts your cloud storage as a network drive. You pay your storage provider separately for the storage capacity and any data transfer. This product connects to storage accounts you already control.
