Overview
This data package contains the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP) is a program that includes CMS, State Medicaid Agencies, and participating drug manufacturers that helps to offset the Federal and State costs of most outpatient prescription drugs dispensed to Medicaid patients. The data package includes a list of the active drugs in the MDRP and specifies the manufacturer status in reporting or not reporting the Average Manufacturer Price. It also contains details of the most recent reports on covered outpatient active drugs as well as a list of National Drug Codes (NDC) that are not listed with the FDA.

- CMS Drug Manufacturer Rebate Drugs
The dataset consists of details of the most recent reports on covered outpatient active drugs by manufacturers participating in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) according to Section 1927 of the Social Security Act. The rebate drug product data file contains the active drugs that have been reported by participating drug manufacturers as of the most recent rebate reporting period under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program.
- CMS Drug Manufacturer Rebate Not FDA
This dataset contains a list of National Drug Codes (NDC) in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP) that are not listed with the FDA. It is encouraged to drug manufacturers to follow the NDC Structured Product Labeling to ensure their listing with FDA, which is used to verify eligible products for Medicaid coverage, by matching the NDCs in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program Drugs Product Data dataset against the FDA NSDE file to identify the products not listed with FDA included in the MDRP.
- CMS Drug Manufacturer Rebate Report on Average Pricing
This dataset contains a list of the active drugs in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and specifies the manufacturer status in reporting or not reporting the Average Manufacturer Price. A report should be issued for each active drug in the program, otherwise, penalties may result. The present dataset contains a list of the drugs included in the MDRP stated as "Reported" or "Not Reported" according to the submission status of the AMP.
