Overview
SMB AWS Quick Start is a productized AWS engagement with two fixed-price tiers, built for small and mid-size businesses that want a clean start on AWS without hiring a cloud team.
Foundation tier (5-10 business days). A clean, production-ready AWS account baseline deployed from battle-tested templates: multi-AZ Amazon VPC with public and private subnets, AWS IAM least-privilege roles, AWS KMS customer-managed keys, AWS CloudTrail audit logging, Amazon CloudWatch billing and root-usage alarms. A safe, low-cost way to evaluate AWS on facts before committing to an irreversible infrastructure decision.
Production Launch tier (3-4 weeks). Everything in Foundation, plus your first containerized workload running in production: services on Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate behind an Application Load Balancer with ACM certificates, a managed database (Amazon Aurora Serverless v2 or Amazon DynamoDB), Amazon ECR with image scanning, and a CI/CD pipeline wired via GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines using OIDC (no static access keys), with a manual approval gate before production deploys. Observability included: CloudWatch dashboards and baseline alarms (service health, ALB 5xx rate, database CPU and storage, billing threshold).
Deliverables. Deployed environment (and workload) in your own AWS account; all Terraform / Terragrunt templates and pipeline code committed to your repository; architecture diagram (PDF and editable source); runbook and incident playbook; cost baseline summary; 1-hour handover workshop with recording.
How it works. Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline - no time-and-materials billing. You own the infrastructure-as-code at handover; no proprietary tooling. Eligible customers may offset costs via AWS partner funding programs, subject to AWS approval. Custom requirements (Amazon EKS, multi-region, custom CIDR or organizational design, compliance certification) are scoped separately as an extended engagement.
