    Usage instructions

    1. Launch the EC2 instance from AWS Marketplace.

    2. Ensure the following ports are allowed in the EC2 Security Group:

      TCP 22 (SSH) TCP 8069 (Odoo Web Access)

    3. Access Odoo using:

      http://PUBLIC-IP:8069 

    4. Default Login Credentials:

      Username: admin Password: admin

    5. Change the default administrator password immediately after first login.

    6. Recommended AWS Instance Types:

      t3.large m5.large m6i.large

    7. PostgreSQL 18 database backend is preconfigured and automatically starts with the system.

    8. Odoo service is configured with systemd and automatically starts after reboot.

    9. Database Manager is disabled to provide a simplified and secure direct login experience.

    10. Custom addons can be installed in:

      /opt/odoo/custom-addons

    11. Odoo configuration file:

      /etc/odoo/odoo.conf

    12. Odoo log file:

      /var/log/odoo/odoo.log

    13. To restart Odoo:

      sudo systemctl restart odoo

    14. To check Odoo service status:

      sudo systemctl status odoo

    15. To check PostgreSQL service status:

      sudo systemctl status postgresql
