Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this hardened Rocky Linux 10 image, billed per running instance. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, so your rate follows the instance you choose. Smaller general-purpose sizes bill at low hourly rates, while compute-, memory-, storage-, and accelerator-focused families and larger sizes bill more. Bare metal and high-memory options sit at the upper end. Pricing scales with the size and class of the instance you run, and you incur charges only for the hours each instance is active.

You get a virtual machine running Rocky Linux 10 that has been hardened to reduce security vulnerabilities. It is configured to recognized secure standards and deploys with one click. Each running instance carries the hourly software rate tied to the AWS EC2 instance type you select.
The hourly software rate meters only the hours an instance is actively running. Stopped or paused instances do not accrue software charges. You may still owe separate AWS fees for attached storage while an instance sits stopped, but those are billed by AWS, not by this software.
Each running instance bills independently at the hourly rate for its own EC2 instance type. The charges add together across all active instances. Running a larger or accelerator-focused instance raises that instance's rate, but it does not change the rate of your other instances.
