The Platts European Gas Analytics dataset provides access to historical and current European supply, demand and price forecasts, historical and upcoming European gas outages, and European gas hub balances & short-term gas fundamentals data. Use this dataset to easily track the performance of your internal models and forecasts against a trusted third-party provider.
Leverage this dataset to retrieve and compare weekly price forecasts for NBP, TTF, and PSV, or identify trading opportunities by analyzing price and spread forecasts against futures markets. Review European gas outages and hub balances, and aspects of gas flow including daily nominations, instantaneous and physical flows, flow points, field production, demand, prices, and storage facilities across key European markets. This offers insights for market analysis, operational planning, and strategic decision-making.
Short-Term Forecast includes:
- Supply and demand forecasts for major European countries over the next 18 months to 3 years, updated weekly
- Supply forecast by countries/regions and upstream producers
- Demand forecast by LDZ (res-comm), industrial, and power sectors, including coal-to-gas switching potential
EU Gas Outages includes:
- Daily updates on gas outage data, including historical, current, and upcoming/planned maintenance
- Information on gas flows, field outages, and LNG liquefaction outages to assess the impact on gas prices
EU Gas Hub Balances includes:
- Current daily hub balances with a 14-day forecast
- Historical daily hub balances
- Selection of individual or multiple flow points across various flow types with daily granularity
- Physical flow points data for specific flow sources
- Daily storage data for European gas resources
- Hourly updates on day-ahead nominations, renominations, and allocations
- Real-time data on field production and instantaneous flows
