Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this software, billed per running instance. Pricing is tied directly to the AWS EC2 instance type you choose to run it on. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so the hourly rate scales with the compute capacity of that instance. Smaller instances carry lower hourly rates, while larger compute, memory, storage, and GPU-focused instances cost more. You select the instance that fits your workload and pay only for the hours it runs. There is no upfront commitment, and you can change instance sizes as your needs change.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay a software fee for the pre-configured Apache NiFi with Access Auditor image running on your chosen instance. This is billed per running instance-hour and is separate from the underlying AWS compute cost for the EC2 instance you launch it on.
The software fee meters running time only. When you stop the instance, the hourly software charge stops. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are separate from the software charge covered here. You pay only for the hours the instance runs.
Yes. Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type, and the hourly rate follows that instance. If you move to a compute, memory, storage, or GPU instance with more capacity, the rate changes to match. There is no upfront commitment, so you can switch as needed.
