Overview
Synamedia CSFEye provides Video Service Operators with an in-depth understanding of the extent of credential/password sharing on their streaming service. Using CSFEye's tried and tested detection algorithm, password sharers are accurately identified and labelled, along with a score, that quantifies how severe sharing is across each identified account.
CSFEye requires a minimal data set to perform its behavior analysis and provide actionable insights around sharing in your service. By analyzing how your subscribers consume content, CSFEye can identify sharers accurately, giving you the confidence and peace of mind to take actions to convert or upgrade sharers to paying subscribers.
The CSFEye dashboards provide a summarized view of the impact of password sharing on your platform. They answer common questions such as: How many of my subscribers are sharing? How many potential subscribers are hidden within these sharers? What potential additional revenue can I generate from tackling password sharing? How have our actions impacted sharing behavior among the target groups?
The detailed Account Information dashboard is where Operators can delve deeper into the sharers' accounts and perform deeper analysis. Individual accounts can be inspected to analyze their account behavior, identify how many households are using the shared credentials and how severely each account is sharing.
Using advanced filtering based on your required criteria, you can create groups of accounts target specific actions on, using tailored campaigns that will deliver optimal results for each group of subscribers. CSFEye also enables Service Operators to track the impact of the actions taken against different groups using the Action Tracking dashboard to see how sharers behavior has changed as a result of the actions taken.
Taking action against sharers reduces the infrastructure costs services incur from streaming to non-paying sharers and unleashes the hidden potential in acquiring additional subscribers currently using shared credentials, to ultimately increase your subscriber base and service profits.
