Odigos Enterprise automatically generates OpenTelemetry traces from supported applications running on Kubernetes. Install it in your Amazon EKS cluster, select workloads, and export telemetry to your observability backend. Purchase through AWS Marketplace with per-node usage pricing and privately negotiated annual commitments.
Odigos Enterprise provides self-managed automatic instrumentation for supported Kubernetes applications. It uses eBPF and runtime instrumentation to generate OpenTelemetry data without requiring application source-code changes. Teams manage instrumentation sources and telemetry destinations through the Odigos UI and send data to a supported observability backend.
This delivery installs through Helm on Amazon EKS and includes core Enterprise instrumentation and telemetry export. Odigos Insights and Central are not included in this initial delivery. This release is validated on Amazon EKS 1.34 with Amazon Linux 2023 and Linux amd64 nodes. Other platform combinations are outside this release's validated scope. Instrumentation overhead depends on the workload and enabled configuration.
Software usage is billed per distinct node observed with a Ready, Running Odigos agent during each UTC hour, including partial hours. A node counts even when no application on it is currently instrumented. AWS Marketplace private offers can provide negotiated annual commitments and usage rates. AWS infrastructure and any external observability services are charged separately. See the deployment instructions for subscription activation, purchase-verified license retrieval, instrumentor-only IAM permissions, installation, license renewal, upgrades and cleanup before uninstall.
An internet connection to AWS metering/STS/ECR and the seller's license service is required for activation and renewal. License activation is self-service using AWS credentials from a purchasing account. The EKS deployment account must also have an active Marketplace entitlement. The license token expires after at most 30 days; renewal requires fetching a new token, updating the Kubernetes Secret and restarting the token-consuming Odigos workloads as documented. This delivery does not include an automatic token renewal controller.
Highlights
Automatically generate OpenTelemetry data from supported Kubernetes applications without application source-code changes.
Run instrumentation in your own Amazon EKS cluster and export telemetry to a supported observability backend.
Purchase through AWS Marketplace using per-node usage pricing, with negotiated annual commitments available through private offers.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Odigos Enterprise bills on usage. You pay per host hour, where a host is one Kubernetes node or EC2 instance. There is one pricing dimension, so your cost scales directly with how many nodes or instances you monitor and how long they run. More hosts running for more hours means a higher bill. This model ties spending to the size of your instrumented infrastructure, without separate tiers, seats, or fixed commitments. You self-report usage as hosts operate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one host for billing?
A host is one Kubernetes node or one EC2 instance that Odigos runs on. Each node or instance you instrument counts separately. Billing meters by host-hours, so each host adds to your total for every hour it runs Odigos.
Am I charged for hosts that are powered off or idle?
Billing meters host-hours, so charges accrue while a host runs Odigos. A node or instance that is fully powered off does not run the software and does not add host-hours. Your cost tracks the running time of instrumented hosts only.
Does Odigos add compute overhead that could raise my host costs?
Odigos runs out-of-process in eBPF, in the kernel, outside your application. The vendor states CPU impact stays under 1% with effectively zero added latency, even at high throughput. This keeps resource use on each instrumented host low.

Vendor refund policy
Odigos Enterprise is billed based on actual usage as recorded by AWS Marketplace metering. Because charges are usage-based and reported automatically, refunds are not typically provided. If a billing discrepancy occurs, please contact Odigos Support at support@odigos.io within 7 days of the charge for review.

Usage instructions
Odigos Enterprise 2026.09.28: EKS 1.34, AL2023, Linux amd64; one install per cluster. Requires a subscription, Helm 3, kubectl, AWS CLI, Python 3 and boto3. Metering requires IRSA.
Subscribe to Odigos Enterprise. The AWS principal fetching the license must have lambda:InvokeFunctionUrl and lambda:InvokeFunction on arn:aws:lambda:us-east-1:061717858829:function:odigos-marketplace-issuer-pr3797-Issuer-avwccmrw5rLo (InvokeFunction via Function URL only).
With the purchasing account's AWS credentials, retrieve the token and create the Kubernetes Secret. The deployment account also needs an active Marketplace entitlement. Select its Kubernetes context first:
python3 odigos-marketplace/chart/fetch-marketplace-token.py https://dmaoivlk72vrl5zct27s3h4xjq0cesyl.lambda-url.us-east-1.on.aws/token --output odigos-marketplace-token
kubectl create namespace odigos-system --dry-run=client -o yaml | kubectl apply -f -
kubectl -n odigos-system create secret generic odigos-pro --from-file=odigos-onprem-token=odigos-marketplace-token --dry-run=client -o yaml | kubectl apply --server-side -f -
Configure IRSA for an existing service account named odigos-instrumentor in namespace odigos-system. Trust must match that service account and the cluster's OIDC provider, with audience sts.amazonaws.com. The role policy is {"Version":"2012-10-17","Statement":[{"Effect":"Allow","Action":"aws-marketplace:MeterUsage","Resource":"*"}]}. Annotate the service account with eks.amazonaws.com/role-arn set to that role. See the packaged MARKETPLACE.md. When using AWS's managed Helm launch, use the service account prepared by AWS Marketplace instead; the delivery maps its name to marketplace.serviceAccountName.
In odigos-marketplace/chart/values.yaml, set marketplace.serviceAccountName to odigos-instrumentor and ResourceSizePreset to size_s. Install:
helm upgrade --install odigos odigos-marketplace/chart --namespace odigos-system -f odigos-marketplace/chart/values.yaml --wait --timeout 10m
kubectl -n odigos-system get pods
kubectl -n odigos-system port-forward svc/ui 3000:3000
Open http://localhost:3000 to select workloads and a destination. Keep the UI private. Allow outbound Marketplace metering, STS, ECR and your destination. Insights is excluded. The node agent requires privileged host access for instrumentation. Images use values.yaml repository fields for AWS regionalization.
Before the license expires (maximum 30 days, capped at agreement end), repeat step 3 into a new token file, update the same Secret, and restart the token-consuming workloads: instrumentor, UI and the Odiglet DaemonSet including collector sidecars. Recreate autoscaler-managed gateway pods one at a time and wait for readiness. Secret updates alone do not refresh existing environment variables. Each renewal verifies an active purchase; no renewal controller is included. Remove local token files after securely storing/applying them.
To uninstall, run helm uninstall odigos --namespace odigos-system and wait for its cleanup hook to finish. Retain the namespace and odigos-mp-* ledger ConfigMaps for two full UTC hours after final removal, including during reinstall, to preserve duplicate-charge protection. Do not delete the namespace to perform a same-hour reinstall. AWS billing counts distinct Ready Odiglet nodes observed during each UTC hour, including partial hours, and reports the preceding closed hour. Removal before the report can leave the last hour unbilled. Cancel the subscription after stopping the workloads if ending use. Contact support@odigos.io for assistance.
For installation, product or billing support, contact support@odigos.io. Include the Marketplace product/version, EKS region and Kubernetes version, affected component and relevant redacted error messages. Do not send credentials, tokens or customer telemetry. Support response commitments are governed by your applicable agreement.
