The Things Stack Cloud is a fully managed and hosted solution by The Things Industries to build and operate LoRaWAN networks, offered as AWS SaaS.
Manage and monitor your devices and gateways with an elaborate toolset. Route device data securely to your application running in your AWS account using the AWS IoT Core Integration.
The Things Stack saves developers and integrators time and headache: through well-documented APIs and SDKs, feature rich web interface, comprehensive debugging tools, per device LoRaWAN network layer settings, configurable channel plans and a trusted device activation platform. The Things Stack supports all LoRaWAN protocol versions (including 1.0.4 and 1.1), all devices classes (A, B and C), all LoRaWAN Regional Parameters for sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz, as well as various gateway packet forwarders (including LoRa Basics Station).

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay based on how many LoRaWAN devices you register on the network. Each dimension sets a device-count ceiling, from up to 1000 devices through up to 100,000 devices. As your fleet grows, you move to the tier that covers your registered device count. Beyond 100,000 devices, capacity scales in increments of 10,000. All tiers bill by usage measured in tier-hours, so charges reflect the actual number of devices connected over time. This lets you start small and scale the tier upward as your network expands.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one registered device for billing?
Each end device you provision on the LoRaWAN network counts toward your device total. Your tier reflects the number of registered devices, not the number of gateways or applications, which are unlimited. Your bill matches the actual count of devices connected over time.
What happens to my cost when my device count crosses a tier ceiling?
When your registered device count passes your current tier's ceiling, you move up to the tier that covers the new count. The charge reflects the tier matching your actual registered devices. Beyond 100,000 devices, capacity scales in increments of 10,000.
How is my usage measured for billing?
Billing uses tier-hours, meaning charges track how many devices are registered over time rather than a fixed monthly fee. You are billed based on the actual number of devices registered on the network during the period.
