    Overview

Control Plane's wormhole technology enables your workloads to securely connect to endpoints within VPCs and other private networks. Deploying an agent EC2 instance within the VPC establishes a secure, persistent connection to the Control Plane network fabric. This agent is responsible for tunneling requests from your workloads to precisely intended hosts and ports within your VPC, and conveying the responses, accordingly. This technology offers seamless integration and optimal performance ensuring a transparent and efficient operation for your workloads.

    Highlights

    • Secure workload connections to private endpoints within VPCs
    • Seamless operations through effective request and response tunneling
    • Traverse network boundaries securely and cost effectively

What do you like best about the product?
ControlPlane has simplified our entire workload deployment process. ControlPlane also helped us reduce costs and made cost management much easier overall.

Simplified Our Infrastructure with Great Support

    Reviewed on Jul 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It has significantly simplified our infrastructure, letting us spend more time building instead of doing DevOps. Support has also been great, both in the onboarding phase, and during normal operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggled a bit to combine our Prometheus metrics from our application with metrics coming from other infrastructure, like serverless compute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It manages everything related to k8s for us, so we can focus on building software instead of spending time managing the platform.

Flexible, Resilient, and Fast: Control Plane Delivers

    Reviewed on Jul 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Control Plane gives us the flexibility we need without compromising speed or resiliency. It helped us achieve a six-nines SLA, which is huge for us. Support is stellar when we need it and the pricing is fair. Amazing solution for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything that I dislike about control plane
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Control Plane solves the infrastructure complexity behind running reliable workloads at scale, especially across multiple clouds. We get the resilience of a multi-cloud setup without having to build and maintain all the orchestration ourselves. Less vendor lock-in, easier failover and no massive operational mess when a provider or region has issues.

It also gives us a lot more flexibility around where workloads run and how they scale. We can optimise for performance, availability or cost depending on the workload, and react quickly when demand changes. That helps us cut infrastructure spend and avoids needing a large platform team just to manage cloud plumbing.

In practice, we get better reliability and scalability, while the engineering team spends more time building the product instead of maintaining infrastructure.
