AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract listing has two pricing dimensions that work together. You buy the MediaHQ Starter Licence to access the content publishing and delivery platform. Separately, you buy Embedded Player Licence units, priced per 1,000 plays through the Embedded Player. The player licence scales with viewer activity, so your cost grows as playback volume increases. The Starter Licence covers the base platform, while the player units act as a usage-based add-on tied to how much your audience watches. Both are billed under the contract term you select.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a single play for the Embedded Player Licence?
Each Embedded Player Licence unit covers 1,000 plays through the Embedded Player. A play is one instance of a viewer starting content in that player. Playback volume is counted in blocks of 1,000, so your unit count reflects total audience plays.
Which dimension drives most of my cost as my audience grows?
The MediaHQ Starter Licence covers the base platform as a fixed part of your contract. Embedded Player Licence units scale with viewer plays, counted per 1,000. Both appear on the same invoice. As playback rises, the player units become the variable portion that grows with audience activity.
What does the MediaHQ Starter Licence platform actually include?
The Starter Licence gives access to the content publishing and delivery platform. It supports uploading, transcoding, and publishing video for connected devices, plus streaming, ad insertion, and analytics capabilities. This licence covers platform access, while playback is metered separately through Embedded Player Licence units.
