Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract pricing has two paired parts: usage and fee. You start with a base license that covers a set screening volume, tracked as Base Usage units. A matching Screening License Fee covers that base commitment. As your screening needs grow past the base, Incremental Usage units capture the added volume. The Incremental Fee then applies over and above the base pricing for that extra usage. In short, the base dimensions set your committed level, and the incremental dimensions let pricing scale up as you screen more customers and transactions.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Screening License Usage unit measure?
A unit maps to your screening volume, meaning the customers and transactions checked against watchlists such as sanctions, PEP, and adverse media. The base license covers a set committed volume, tracked as Base Usage units. As you screen more names and payments, you consume more units.
What happens if my screening volume grows past the base commitment?
Once your usage exceeds the committed base volume, the extra screening is captured as Incremental Usage units. The Incremental Fee then applies on top of the base pricing for that added volume. This lets your cost scale as screening demand rises, without renegotiating the base.
How do the usage and fee dimensions combine on my invoice?
The base pair works together: Base Usage units set your committed volume, and the Screening License Fee covers that commitment. The incremental pair mirrors this: Incremental Usage measures added volume, and the Incremental Fee prices it above the base. Base and incremental charges apply together as your volume grows.
