NET 6, 8 and 10 SDKs installed side by side and tuned in advance for high performance compute workloads. Network security via AWS Security Groups. Ready in minutes.
Propagate .NET HPC is a production ready Ubuntu 24.04 LTS image that gives you a fully tuned .NET compute environment the moment your instance boots. It ships with the .NET 6, 8 and 10 SDKs installed side by side, so you can build and run workloads on any of the three runtimes without juggling installs or version conflicts.
The image is tuned in advance for high performance computing. It enables Server garbage collection, sets the CPU governor to performance, applies NUMA aware settings, raises file and socket limits, and tunes kernel and network buffers for throughput. You can switch between three ready made profiles at any time: throughput for maximum compute, latency for steady response services, and balanced for general use. Optional huge page support unlocks .NET large page garbage collection for memory heavy jobs.
Highlights
.NET 6, 8 and 10 SDKs installed side by side, with a one command default selector and a built in compute benchmark to verify performance.
Tuned in advance for high performance computing: Server GC, performance CPU governor, NUMA aware settings, raised limits, and selectable throughput, latency and balanced profiles.

Try this product free for 5 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. Pricing is tied to the AWS EC2 instance type you choose to run this software. Each dimension maps to one instance type, so your hourly rate scales with the compute size and family you select. Smaller general-purpose types cost less per hour, while memory-optimized, compute-optimized, storage, accelerated, and high-performance computing types carry higher rates that match their capacity. You control cost by picking the instance size that fits your workload and by turning instances off when idle.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit map to for this software?
Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type, billed per running hour. You launch a pre-configured image on your own AWS account. The rate you pay reflects the instance family and size you select, from small general-purpose types up to metal and accelerated compute types.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or idle?
Software charges accrue per running hour. When you stop or turn off an instance, hourly software charges stop. Underlying AWS storage and other AWS resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped. You control cost by shutting down instances you are not using.
How do I move to a larger instance if my workload grows?
Pick the dimension matching the instance type you want to run. Moving to a different family or size means launching that instance type, and your hourly rate changes to match. There is no upfront commitment, so you can switch instance types as your compute needs change.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
