You pay by the hour for the software running on a Windows Server 2019 image. Pricing scales with the EC2 instance type you choose. Options span burstable t2 and t3/t3a families for lighter or variable workloads, and general-purpose m-series families (m3, m4, m5, m5a, m5ad, m5d, m5dn, m5n) for steadier compute. Within each family, sizes range from nano and micro up to 24xlarge and bare-metal (metal). Larger instances add more CPU and memory, so the hourly rate rises with instance size. You pay only for the hours each instance runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You are billed per hour for each running EC2 instance carrying the Windows Server 2019 image. One unit equals one instance running for one hour. Each instance you launch meters separately. The hourly rate depends on which instance type you pick, since larger types add CPU and memory.
The hourly software charge accrues only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the software fee. Note that stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage charges for attached disks. To halt software charges, stop or terminate the instance.
You open port 21 for FTP, port 990 for FTPS, and port 14147 for server administration. You also open the passive port range 50000 to 51000 for data transfers. Adjust these in your security group and Windows firewall. Ports do not affect the hourly price.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to transfer and download files securely between the host machine and the Server. It does provide real-time monitoring as well as logs to troubleshoot issues.

What do you like best about the product?
File Zilla provides secure file transfer with different protocols and works well with various operating systems, and it is effortless to install and configure. It provides real-time monitoring as well as logs to troubleshoot.

lack of support from the team, other than this everything is well.
