Overview
Hive Hybrid Cloud Operations Manager (HCOM) is a cloud-native near zero footprint solution that enables automated lifecycle management for cloud/remote cloud/on-premise workloads at scale through operations-as-code to achieve Well-Architected Framework (WAF) Operational Excellence. Enables core operations capabilities (configure, monitor, patch, STIG, backup) using existing AWS operations, management, and security services such as AWS CloudWatch, Systems Manager, Backup, and Security Hub at scale for managing workloads such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, Aurora/RDS, and DynamoDB. Provides cloud security posture observability at scale with a centralized, cross-account, cross-region, Security Hub Score report. The Hive platform is built using AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, S3, Systems Manager, CloudWatch Custom Dashboards, and EventBridge. Workload lifecycle events trigger Hive platform automations to manage use of CloudWatch, State Manager, Patch Management, and AWS Backup for operations. A collection of custom CloudWatch Dashboards provides visibility to operational status and user interface for using and managing the platform.
