Using the AWS Well-Architected Framework as a foundation, we provide actionable insights into your workloads and deliver step-by-step guidance toward a more efficient, secure, and cost-effective cloud environment.

Our AWS Certified Solutions Architects and Well-Architected Ambassadors conduct an in-depth evaluation of your AWS workloads using tools such as the AWS Well-Architected Tool, AWS Trusted Advisor, and AWS Cost Explorer to identify optimization opportunities across all six pillars. Based on this analysis, we recommend how your workloads can be optimized to align with best practices and meet your business objectives.

This engagement is ideal for organizations that need expert guidance on their existing AWS architecture. For example, a SaaS company preparing for enterprise sales may need to pass a security audit and demonstrate architectural resilience. An e-commerce platform anticipating peak traffic events may need to validate auto-scaling configurations and disaster recovery strategies. Phase 1: Initial Discovery Call (30 Minutes)

Phase 2: Well-Architected Framework Review Workshop (2 Hours)

Our cloud architects use the AWS Well-Architected Tool to evaluate and assess your current architecture with input from your key stakeholders. The review covers all six pillars - Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability.

Phase 3: Findings and Report Delivery (60 Minutes)

We present our findings in a detailed report highlighting what parts of your environment are well-architected, what needs improvement, and what has critical risks. The report categorizes all high-level and medium-level risks with prioritized recommendations.

Phase 4: Remediation

• An agreed set of high-level risks remediated by Business Compass LLC - a minimum of 45 percent
• A detailed action plan to guide the remediation of remaining identified risks
• Assistance with applying for AWS service credits of up to 10 percent of net new spend resulting from the remediation to help offset engagement costs

Requirements:

• An active AWS account with the workload(s) to be reviewed deployed
• Availability of key stakeholders who understand the workload architecture for the 2-hour workshop
• Appropriate IAM access permissions for our team to utilize the AWS Well-Architected Tool within your environment

Scope:

• This engagement covers one prioritized workload per review
• All six pillars of the Well-Architected Framework are assessed
• Remediation covers a minimum of 45 percent of identified high-level risks

Out of Scope:

• Application code refactoring or rewriting
• Third-party software licensing or configuration
• Workloads not deployed on AWS
