What do you like best about the product?
I ike that its flexible and scalable, also i like it that i can integrate it with existing tools, good observability, monitoring is a deal braker for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Always the learning curve can be steep for newcomers, especially without prior experience in observability tools, configuration flexibility comes at the cost of complexity. Pricing may also become an issue at scale, depending on data retention and usage patterns. Lastly, certain features or integrations may still require hands-on tuning or aren’t as mature as more established platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
cortex cloud helps us deal with the complexity of managing observability at scale. before, handling prometheus ourselves was a hassle, especially when it came to longterm storage, high availability, and multi-tenant setups. with cortex, we don't have to worry about the operational overhead, and we get consistent performance and better query reliability. it also helps us catch issues faster and keeps everything in one place, which makes collaboration between teams easier. overall, it's made monitoring way more manageable without needing to build and maintain everything ourselves.

What do you like best about the product?
Used it for a few months. It’s great for spotting issues and keeping things secure across AWS and GCP. The features are strong, and I do feel more confident with it runningg
What do you dislike about the product?
the UI is kinda clunky, and it took me a while to get used to. Alerts can also be a bit too much until you tune them properly. Not the easiest tool for beginners, but once it’s set up, it works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps us actually catch misconfigs and threats across AWS/GCP. Saves time and gives better visibility. UI isn’t the best, but it gets the job done well.

    A very useful product

    Reviewed on Jul 28, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Cortex Cloud are the scalability, performance and simplicity of the application. It allowed me to deploy and manage machine learning models effortlessly, with powerful automation and monitoring tools that saved time and reduced complexity. Also, the intuitive interface and strong integration options make it easy to fit into existing workflows, which really streamlines development and production.

Me and my team used Cortex Cloud to monitor our product performance metrics across different regions. The ability to set up custom alerts and drill down into anomalies helps our product and engineering teams react quickly to issues and optimize performance proactively. This has saved us hours of manual data pulling and analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Cortex Cloud is that while it’s powerful, it can have a steep learning curve at first—especially when configuring more advanced deployments. The documentation could also be more detailed in certain areas, which sometimes makes troubleshooting harder than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud is solving the problem of complex and time-consuming model deployment and infrastructure management.

Before adopting it, we had to pull data from multiple sources manually, which led to delays, inconsistencies, and limited insights. With Cortex Cloud, all our key data streams are centralized in one platform with live analytics, which has drastically improved our operational efficiency

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Cortex Cloud is its seamless integration and centralized control over microservices. The ability to easily visualize service dependencies, monitor performance, and enforce quality standards in one place has drastically improved our team's velocity and reliability. It makes service ownership and onboarding much more manageable, especially in complex, fast-moving environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Cortex Cloud is incredibly useful, the learning curve can be steep for new users unfamiliar with service catalogs or scorecards. Some parts of the UI feel a bit cluttered when navigating large-scale systems, and more contextual help or guided walkthroughs would improve the onboarding experience. That said, once you're familiar with the platform, it becomes a powerful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud is solving the problem of fragmented service ownership and lack of visibility into the health and maturity of microservices. By providing a centralized service catalog, scorecards, and clear ownership structures, it's helping our engineering teams reduce technical debt, improve service reliability, and streamline incident response. It's also made onboarding smoother by giving new developers a clear view of existing services and their dependencies.
