JackDB uses a single pricing dimension based on the number of users. You pay per user, so your cost scales directly with how many people need access. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose between. As you add users, your total charge grows in proportion to the user count. This structure keeps billing simple: your spend rises or falls with team size alone.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one user for billing?
One user is one individual account with login access to the platform. You are billed for each person you provision. If you add users during a billing period, your charge is prorated for the time they are active. Removing users reduces your ongoing cost.
How does my cost change when my team grows or shrinks?
Cost scales directly with active user count. Adding users mid-period triggers a prorated charge for the remaining time that month. There are no tiers or thresholds, so each user is billed the same per-user rate. Your total rises or falls with headcount alone.
Are there extra charges for data sources, query volume, or storage?
No. Billing is based only on user count. Data source connections are unlimited under this per-user model. The platform accesses your data in real time and does not store your datasets, so query volume and result exports do not add separate charges.
