Overview
Zenoh (https://zenoh.io ) is an open-source protocol designed to unify data in motion, data at rest, and computations from microcontrollers to cloud data centers. It combines the efficiency of publish/subscribe (pub/sub) messaging with geo-distributed storage, querying, and computation capabilities, enabling seamless data flow and processing across heterogeneous systems .
Highlights
- - One stack to deal with pub/sub and geo-distributed storage - Decentralized and fault-tolerant routing fabric - Over 10M msg/sec and latency in the tens of microseconds
- - Built-in support for security, including access control and zero-trust - Support for wide number of transports, including QUIC, Best-effort QUIC, TCP/IP, and UDP/IP - Built-in support for shared memory and zero copy

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
