Overview
Now develop and test your business-critical applications for HPE NonStop from anywhere. HPE NonStop Development Environment (NS DevEnv) on AWS is a self-sufficient package for remote development of fault-tolerance aware, always-on applications in C/C++ and COBOL using a true public cloud model. This bundle contains (1) the HPE NonStop Development Environment for Eclipse (NSDEE) (2) the C/C++ Cross-Compiler and (3) COBOL Cross-Compiler on a Windows virtual machine (VM). Readily access all the tools in one place, at your convenience, whenever you want to and from wherever you are, with pay-as-you-go cloud economics.
All operations can be performed using the familiar, intuitive Eclipse GUI to edit, compile and build your code from a single terminal. Store your workspace securely in the AWS and resume later. The bundle provides all the features that you would expect through the standard DVD based offering from HPE NonStop.
You may also install the NonStop database (SQL/MX) pre-processor to compile your programs containing embedded SQL statements.
In addition to the above, it also consists of a set of tools that you may use to test, deploy and administer your applications to fit into a DevOps lifecycle model.
