Connection Methods

ssh as user 'ec2-user' to the running instance and use sudo to run commands requiring root access.

Use 'sudo su - ' to switch to root.

Redis:

Server version: Redis-6.2

To start Redis Service: sudo systemctl start redis

To stop Redis Service: sudo systemctl stop redis

To get Redis Service status :sudo systemctl status redis

Redis configuration file: /etc/redis/redis.conf

Redis service Port 6379 this is by default not allowed on cloud firewall for security.

MySQL:

Installation Information: The MySQL installation user in the system: mysql

MySQL installation directory: /usr/local/mysql

MySQL configuration file: /etc/my.cnf

MySQL Port: 3306

Local login method: mysql -uroot -p

To view the initial MySQL root user password, you can check the file located at '/root/mysql-password'. Use the command 'sudo cat /root/mysql-password' to view the initial password for the MySQL root user.

Service Management:

To start/stop/status mysql Service: sudo systemctl start/stop/status mysqld

Please allow SSH port 22, mysql Port 3306 and redis port 6379 to limited IPs for access.
