DigiFusion - AI HVAC Optimisation is an innovative AI-driven solution designed to optimize HVAC systems on both the water and air sides. The system utilizes actual operating data retrievable from the Building Management System (BMS) to develop self-trained physics-guided machine learning (PGML) models for the HVAC water-side system. This hybrid approach blends physical principles with machine learning, ensuring accurate modeling of the actual performance of chiller plant equipment.
The PGML model can consider all possible combinations of different control strategies (e.g., number of chillers to run, dedicated chiller with COP ranking for operation, number of chilled water pumps to be operated, etc.) to optimize the total energy consumption of the entire chiller plant rather than focusing solely on individual equipment under real-time cooling load conditions.
