Combine emulates the technical differences that exist between classified cloud regions and AWS GovCloud. Customers can validate the compatibility of existing workloads with the classified cloud regions as well as develop new workloads for customers in those regions but all from within the confines of AWS GovCloud.
Overview
Sequoia Combine is a fully immersive emulator of the classified cloud regions. It provides a seamless experience for development, testing, and deployment that provides customers the assurance that the workloads they build in AWS GovCloud will migrate, deploy, and operate successfully on the classified cloud regions. Sequoia Combine limits AWS services and service features to just those in the target region, it provides an network "air gap" layer to model classified network restrictions, emulates the classified region alternatives to IAM, and exposes the AWS service endpoints used by classified region alternatives.
