Overview: The AWS Well-Architected Framework Review – Cost Optimization is a professional Services Engagement delivered by Protera AWS Architecture Specialist.
The engagement leverages the AWS Well-Architected Framework Review methodology and Protera AWS Expertise to review in detail existing workloads against the AWS Well Architected Framework Cost Optimization Pillar and provide recommendations to:
- Optimize AWS instances and services sizing
- Leverage AWS pricing optimization options at scale
- Review consumption optimization DevOps routines
- Review FinOps routines and tools
- Recommend budgets and guardrails
Duration: 2 - 5 days remote engagement Deliverables: The deliverable are organized in 3 distinct sections:
- Inventory and description of workloads in scope
- Analysis of workloads against the Cost Optimization recommended best practices
- Creation of summary report on findings, recommended priority remediations and overall governance advice to optimize operation of the AWS environment
At the conclusion of the engagement the Protera Well-Architected Review team presents the deliverables and provides guidance and recommendations on Security remediations and optimization priorities.
