Overview
The Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Proof of Concept by Level Up is a fixed-scope, typically scheduled and delivered over a 30-day calendar period, and designed to help organizations validate the business value of enterprise automation before making larger platform or organizational investments. Working virtually alongside your infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or operations teams, Level Up identifies a high-impact infrastructure automation opportunity, implements a production-ready proof of concept, and demonstrates measurable outcomes such as quantifiable IT cost savings, reduced manual effort, improved consistency, faster provisioning, or accelerated operational response times. Red Hat identifies provisioning, operating system management, cloud automation, and infrastructure lifecycle automation as being among the most common and highest-value automation use cases for Ansible Automation Platform.
This engagement is usually centered on a single customer-selected Ansible use case, with either Configuration Management or Provisioning being recommended as the primary focus area for AWS customers by default. Typical examples include automated provisioning of Amazon EC2 instances, operating system configuration and hardening, patch management workflows, application deployment orchestration, or hybrid-cloud infrastructure automation. Using AAP, organizations can move from manual, ticket-driven processes to repeatable, auditable automation workflows managed through a centralized automation platform.
Over the course of approximately 30 days, Level Up conducts discovery, documents current-state processes, defines success criteria, develops and tests automation content, enables IT operational teams, and delivers a final demonstration and readiness assessment. More than being simply a technical proof of concept, the Level Up Ansible POC is a business-focused evaluation that provides stakeholders with a clear, measurable understanding of expected ROI, operational benefits, implementation requirements, as well as recommended next steps for scaling Ansible automation across the enterprise. Following the Level Up Ansible POC, organizations have working automation assets, full ownership of any Ansible playbook/role intellectual property that has been developed during the engagement, along with documented processes, knowledge transfer, and an actionable roadmap for broader Ansible adoption.

Customers purchasing the Level Up Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Proof of Concept receive direct access to Level Up's automation consultants throughout the 30-day engagement. Support includes project kickoff, discovery, solution design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting assistance, progress reviews, and final demo and knowledge transfer. Support is provided remotely during standard U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday).
Buyers can expect responsive engagement from consultants experienced in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, AWS, Linux, DevOps, and enterprise automation. The engagement includes regular status meetings, issue resolution support related to the proof of concept scope, and guidance on next steps for production adoption. Optional follow-on services, managed automation offerings, and enterprise implementation engagements are available separately after completion of the proof of concept.

Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform Service on AWS is a fully managed Ansible Automation Platform controller. Red Hat will manage the deployment and operation of the controler and monitor for it issues, perform patching and upgrades, and will handle back ups and restore. Execution nodes for automation will be need to be deployed separately.
