Dimensions summary
You buy Storylane as a per-user contract, and you pick one of three plans by seat. Starter is the base offering. Growth Plan adds the ability to build guided demos with an HTML capture replica of your product. Premium Plan lets you build both guided demos and hands-on sandbox demo environments. Pricing scales with the plan you choose and the number of user seats you commit to. Each higher plan builds on the one below it, so you add demo-building capabilities as you move up.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A seat is one user account you assign to a person who builds or manages demos. Each higher plan requires you to commit to a number of seats. You pay per seat, so your cost rises as you add users to the plan.
Growth Plan adds guided demos built from an HTML capture replica of your product. Premium Plan adds hands-on sandbox demo environments on top of guided demos. Each plan includes what the plan below it offers, so capabilities stack as you move up.
Both drive cost together. Your plan sets the per-seat rate and which demo-building features you get. Your committed seat count multiplies that rate. So a higher plan with more seats costs more than the same plan with fewer seats.

Easy-to-Use Demos with Helpful AI, Great Reporting, and Support

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is really easy to use. Capturing product screenshots is straightforward, and with its new AI features it even starts drafting the content for you. I especially like the ability to resize images to different dimensions so everything matches the demo, which is really useful when swapping out screens or when they’ve been captured at different resolutions.
We have it integrated with our HubSpot but don't have the full integration due to package that we're on. It's useful that it's linked with HubSpot but unfortunately we can't add our forms without upgrading to the next tier which is pretty steep and currently not worth the investment for us.
We do have notifications set up for whenever someone looks at the ondemand demo and the accuracy of who's viewed it is great! The reporting is just the right amount for what we need.
For the package that we're on it's very reasonably priced. The team are always helpful if we need any support.

Probably that you have to be on a steep tier for the full hubspot integration but other than that, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us better visibility into businesses in the consideration phase of our product, as well as warm leads for the BDR team to follow up with.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane helps me with creating demos fast, super fast. I really like its AI capabilities that lets us use their avatars. saves a lot of time in demos. You can customize names and personalize demos based on who enters the storylane link
What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt much to dislike about Storylane. It lets you pretty much do however you want to demonstrate your solution. i have seen people create 100 pages in one demo, which is not great process wise. Maybe some guidance/training pops up on how to create good demos might help during demo creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has feature of telling you which accounts have reviewed your demos and how long. That is pretty beneficial. Basically letting some of us trained staff to do great demos.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Storylane to demonstrate what our product does on our website and product pages. I like that it's cheap and I am on the starter plan. It's easy to use, and the demos are super useful and easy to build. We are happy with it. Integrations with Slack and HubSpot are useful, as they alert us whenever a prospect engages on the website. The initial setup of Storylane was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel they could improve the identification of viewers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Storylane helps increase website conversion rates by allowing visitors to try the product, and I appreciate the integrations with Slack and HubSpot for alerting us to prospects, which aids in timely follow-ups.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the most their editor. It's very easy to edit guides on screens with a basically drag and drop interface. Additionally, I appreciate being able to replace the background when our UI updates, which is pretty powerful. The AI features are also a highlight for me, as they automatically generate the content, so I don't have to spend time thinking about what to include. It's pretty cool. The initial setup was very easy too. We just downloaded the extension, and we're ready to capture demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that some features require additional discoverability, but overall, they work fine for me. Nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Storylane to save time on building demos by auto-generating content and easily editing guides with a drag-and-drop editor. Its AI pre-fills content, making demo creation straightforward.
