A Seamless, Game-Changing Way to Record Realistic Demos
What do you like best about the product?
It is a game changer in providing ability to show real demonstrations versus snapshots. I use it extensively to record demos to provide to my fellow co-workers so that they can be self reliant without the need to come back to me, or have access to the actual demo environment. To the naked eye, the customer can't tell the difference at all. No more worries about someone messing with the environment in between. Looks super seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, it's been pretty flawless, and customer support is super responsive even when I'm under the gun to get something working

allows me to create canned demos and quickly disseminate them to the field.
Easy to make Engaging Interactive Demos - But AI Integrations Feel Pushy and price is high
What do you like best about the product?
It creates much more interactive and engaging product demos than static documentation. UI is generally easy to use, and it performs well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the AI integrations. Like most modern products its rammed down your throat. It is also very expensive for what it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making interactive documentation what I can send out to customers, and use as presentations to demonstrate how to use new products. We used to use word documents and powerpoints, this is far better as you can make 1 interactive presentation, and export to PDF to send out after.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane made it quick and easy to put together an interactive, visually appealing product demo. The click-through demo hot spots also make it simple to guide customers through a clear story and showcase features in an engaging way.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have been nice to have several click-through hotspots per screenshot, rather than having to create a new slide each time just to show multiple features on the same page. This would be more efficient, and allow more feature highlights without having to add more slides that lose user engagement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping create product click through demos our team can present to customers to showcase AI product's features and how to use them to help customers visually understand how easy the product is to adopt as well as how helpful the product can be showcasing a story and how the product can solve situations that customers can relate too.

Storylane Makes Click-Through Demos Simple and Visual
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it really easy to create click-through demos for our Saas platform, helping guide prospects and customers through how things work in a really simple, visual way. The options for screen recording or using screenshots is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making it easier to combine videos and stills would make Storylane even better. Embedding video can be a bit clunky

Storylane helps visualise our platform and gives prospects and customers a quick way to see what the platform has to offer without watching a video or needing a full demo. They can see what it's all about and it entices them to find out more
Helpful Interactive Demos and Fair Pricing, but Needs Deeper Workflow Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Interactive demos are a helpful way to showcase the deal when reps are not available.
The HubSpot integration is decent.
Overall the product is priced reasonably which adds to the value of the product.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a wider suite of tools built from it. Possibly a workflow tool that includes emailing and sequencing that integrates more deeply with our CRM to send emails at specific points in our sales funnel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is solving the problem of providing demos for prospects at scale. When reps are overloaded this is a great use case.
This also supports prospects who prefer not to book a formal meeting but still want to review the product.

Storylane Makes Product Demos Faster, Clearer, and More Engaging
What do you like best about the product?
We used to screen-record demo videos and then edit them to share with users on how to use the product. That process was time-consuming for us because we had to edit the videos and try to make them interesting for users. We also used Adobe software to create these video demos, which requires software knowledge and powerful systems to work on. On top of that, these demos sometimes didn’t grab the user’s attention, and users often don’t have time to watch the full video.
But Storylane helped a lot with this. Anyone can work on it, and it makes the demos more interesting, more to the point, and less time-consuming for both us and the user.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature we’d like to see in Storylane is better mobile viewing. Right now, on mobile devices, the demo window doesn’t adjust to the screen size, and it also doesn’t rotate horizontally to let you view it larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using this software, creating product demos meant recording long, time-consuming videos that often lost viewer attention halfway through. Explaining workflows clearly was difficult, and updating demos for every product change took a lot of effort.
Now, creating demos has become far more interactive, concise, and engaging. Instead of long, boring walkthrough videos, we can create to-the-point demonstrations that communicate the value quickly and effectively. This has improved viewer engagement, reduced the time spent creating demo content, and made it easier for customers to understand the product faster.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it very easy to create and edit product walkthrough demos. It accurately identifies interactive elements in our product--a web application--to make some level of interactivity possible in the demo. Going back and editing demos (for instance, if there was a change to the UI of the product) is also simple. Finally, I like how you can embed the demos in a webpage.
What do you dislike about the product?
For collaboratively creating demos, it is difficult to see what collaborators changed or commented on.
Sometimes version control in Storylane can be difficult for us, but this may be more about how we're organizing our files than the product itself.

We don't have the bandwidth to create actual product walkthrough demos. Storylane allows us to quickly whip together demos just by taking screenshots of our web app and using a drag-and-drop system.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is easy to use and was quick to set up. It felt intuitive and relieved our Product team from needing to build a tour in app.

Nothing comes to mind, Storylane is great and our team and clients have found it helpful.

We have a small Product team, which makes it hard to fit everything in that we'd like. Storylane made it possible to easily get a product demo live without needing Product's help.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the ability to showcase our UI/UX in a smooth way.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are starting to pull video from storylane to post on our channels - I would love enhancements with the AI voiceover tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing us the ability to show prospects our interface in a clear and dynamic way. This is allowing us to book more meetings.
