What do you like best about the product?

I really appreciate the ease of use of Storylane. It perfectly understands the environment and makes it easy to create slides and videos. The time and energy saved on creating presentations is notable, especially when it comes to highlighting what has been presented to clients. The customer service has been exceptional, helping me quickly and efficiently. The initial setup was very easy, just a few clicks, especially with the addition of the Chrome plugin, I was able to start working immediately.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Storylane saves me time and energy by making demo creation extremely fast and easy to use, with customizable presentations that impress clients.

What do you like best about the product?

As a product marketer, I find it extremely easy to use. It creates a strong experience for our web audience by showing them exactly what our product can do in just a few clicks.

StoryLane product tours have also been phenomenal as a demand-gen tool. Visitors who go through our tours and then express interest have consistently turned into high-quality leads, and our sales team is genuinely happy with the leads they’ve been receiving lately.

What do you dislike about the product?

It took me some time to get used to the product and start producing quality output. After a year of using it, I feel quite comfortable now, but the first couple of months came with a steep learning curve.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The quality of our website leads has improved significantly. We’ve also been able to improve customer NPS by simplifying onboarding. To support that, we created onboarding hubs for many of our products, and both our sales engineers and customers really love them.

What do you like best about the product?

very helpful tool to ingest information, especially as a new company employee to be able to learn new products and skills. the UI is easy to use and information is easy to find

sometimes, the sound didn't work on the videos but it wasn't often

being able to send easy demo links to customers

What do you like best about the product?

Storylane’s ability to cut videos into chapters and estimate them, while also creating a voice overlay, is awesome. I initially joined because I thought the screen transitions were seamless, but Storylane offers so much more when it comes to creating professionally produced demos.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s difficult to view the transcript for a voice overlay without having to click into each individual screen.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Professional demo videos on a startup budget, plus internal and external product training videos. It also helps develop storytelling around product features, especially when you’re someone who’s very deep in the product and needs support turning that knowledge into a clear narrative.

What do you like best about the product?

Storylane has been incredibly easy to use and really helpful for creating product demos, especially when we need to explain more complex features in a clear, interactive way. I particularly like having an alternative to video, because not every customer wants to sit through a recording - sometimes people would much rather click through a product experience at their own pace and focus on the parts that are most relevant to them.

The AI voiceover feature is one of my favourites and makes it much easier to turn a demo into something more guided without adding a lot of production work. I also really appreciate the ability to create different links for the same demo and track analytics separately, which is super useful when using demos across different campaigns, audiences or channels.

And I was genuinely excited to see Storylane launch MCP. It feels like a great next step for the product and opens up even more possibilities for how interactive demos can fit into broader AI-powered workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?

There’s nothing I particularly dislike, but I’d love a bit more flexibility around the video avatar experience. For example, it would be great to be able to upload a different pre-recorded video for each step of a demo.

And for videos recorded directly in Storylane, a few more editing options would make the experience even better - things like background blur, basic video editing, and speech prompts or presenter notes while recording.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Storylane helps us explain product features in a much more interactive and scalable way, especially when the functionality is complex and difficult to communicate through screenshots or copy alone. It gives customers and prospects the option to explore the product at their own pace instead of always having to watch a video or join a live demo.

It also makes it much easier for us to reuse demos across different campaigns, channels and audiences. Being able to create separate links and track engagement helps us understand how people are interacting with the demos and what resonates most.

What do you like best about the product?

Storylane allows us to simulate a live walkthrough and embed it in our learning management system. This is so valuable to our customer experience and managing the time of our trainers. Customers and click through and follow along as if we were training them live.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only change I would make is allowing us to remove call to action buttons. We use it for lms not sales and some features are very obviously sales oriented. We'd like it to be geared towards learning as well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It frees up time for our live trainers by allowing a simulated experience that is very similar to a zoom training call. This allows our customers to be able to go back to a workflow even when we are not available and allows them to be more autonomous.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like how quickly I can create a nice-looking guideline for my clients instead of the typical “click here, go there” instructions with screenshots.
Since I work in several languages, it’s also super helpful that I can instantly create a new language version with good-quality translation.
The AI feature is another big plus - I can simply share a short screen recording and get a pretty accurate guideline on how to do something.

What do you dislike about the product?

It would be nice to have a better version for mobile screen resolution.

It helps to create personalised guidelines based on specific needs of each client.

Easy to use and very effective for creating product walkthroughs. The overall process feels straightforward, and it helps me put together clear walkthroughs without much effort.

We create simple product walkthroughs that are currently on our website, and our customers would like to explore the product workflow in a more guided way.

The ease of recording a demo, its absolutely frictionless

We'd love if Storylane allowed us to replace portions of recorded image with some other image

Recording demo-s have become super easy. Earlier this would have meant working with marketing team experts but now it doesn't need any additional help
