Effortless Video Creation, Superb Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
I create marketing videos to showcase our SaaS product with Storylane. It saves me time when creating product videos that are innovative. I like that it's very simple to use and quick. I appreciate the suggested text in the comment boxes, as it really helps with the speed of creating videos since I don't need to come up with a script from scratch; I can just tweak the suggestions. Also, the initial setup is very simple.

Sometimes the videos can be a bit tricky to edit

Transformative Tool for Dynamic Demos
What do you like best about the product?
I find the seamlessness of the capture and edit cycle in Storylane to be the most valuable part. The browser extension makes the initial capture incredibly simple, but the real power lies in the post-capture editor. Being able to add or remove screens on the fly as the product evolves is a massive time saver for us. Once we're happy with the flow, the one-click publish feature ensures the live demo is updated across the client's site. This agility allows us to be much more responsive to our clients' needs, and we can provide them with a functional, interactive asset in a fraction of the time it would take to edit a video file.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is excellent, there are a few areas where I'd like to see more flexibility. For instance, while they recently added GIF support, I feel like the ability to simulate a natural scroll on the page during a demo would be a significant UX improvement for our more long-form product pages. I'd also love to see even more granular ways to edit the captured pages directly within the tool. Sometimes we need to tweak specific UI elements or hide certain data points more aggressively, and having more robust on-page editing capabilities would prevent us from having to do multiple recaptures if a single pixel is out of place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves the obsolescence issue with video production by allowing us to create high-quality interactive walkthroughs quickly and cost-effectively. It bridges the gap between static and live environments, providing a modern, polished way to showcase our clients' products.

Storylane makes it very easy to create interactive product demos without heavy technical effort. The UI is intuitive, demo flows are smooth, and sharing via links or embeds is seamless. It’s especially helpful for marketing and sales teams to showcase product features in a guided, self-serve way, which improves engagement and reduces dependency on live demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization options can sometimes feel limited for more complex or highly branded demo experiences. Certain advanced interactions and conditional flows require workarounds, and performance may vary with large demos. More flexibility in design control and deeper analytics would make the platform even stronger.

Storylane has completely transformed how we showcase our solutions to prospects. The platform is incredibly intuitive—we were able to create our first interactive demo within hours, not days. The ability to capture our product screens and add guided tooltips, hotspots, and branching paths makes our demos feel truly personalized for each use case.
What really stands out is how easy it is for non-technical team members to create and update demos independently. Our sales and marketing teams now have full autonomy to build tailored experiences without bothering our product team.

Honestly, very little. The learning curve is minimal, though I'd love to see even more advanced analytics features in future updates.

Before Storylane, scheduling live demos was a bottleneck in our sales process. Now prospects can experience our product on their own time, which has significantly shortened our sales cycle. We've seen a noticeable increase in qualified leads since embedding interactive demos on our website and in our outreach campaigns.

I really like how easy it is to create and take a demo live almost instantly. The user experience is seamless and intuitive and the learning curve is not steep at all.

We use Storylane as part of our consideration and enablement stage in the Marketing funnel to give our customers a hands-on, touch and feel experience of our solutions.
Product demo & Powerful Company Enrichment Analytics in one tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use. I don't need to ask designers or developers to create a demo of our product. Probably the best feature is the analytics that comes with company enrichment. You can see which companies interacted with your demo, which opens up great possibilities for combining Storylane with outbound campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Storylane for three months and haven't found any major downsides. One thing I would improve is that even if a visitor doesn’t interact with Storylane but scrolls down the page with the demo, it still shows a percentage of interaction because the first screen was loaded. However, this is a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Storylane, we can show our website visitors how our product works without requiring them to sign up for a trial. We are using this as a lead magnet. Creating an interactive demo has always been on our to-do list, but we needed to wait for bandwidth from our development team. With Storylane, we were able to complete it with just one marketing person in a few days.
Another great feature we initially hadn't considered is the ability to enrich our website visitor data, allowing us to see which companies are visiting our site. This feature is incredibly valuable for us.

Effortless Demo Creation: Turned Screenshots into a Great Client-Ready Walkthrough
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to use, and we were able to create a great demo for all those clients who don't have the time or are not open yet for a live demo.

The auto-fill with AI was not accurate to the screenshots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to show the best features of our product without having to wait for leads to agree to have a live demo. It saves time, and helps us show the most relevant features of our product even if we are not able to schedule an appointment or have people for a long time on the phone or having to follow up multiple times.
Easy-to-Use Platform + Awesome Support
What do you like best about the product?
We were searching for a demo platform that was cost effective, easy to use, and quick to learn. Storylane checked all of those boxes! The support chat is also a helpful tool and they are quick to respond and follow up with you to see how things are going regarding your question/concern.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything about Storylane that I don't enjoy at this point.

Intuitive AI That Refines Story Flow, Plus Voiceovers and Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
AI features are very intuitive. Once you know your story flow, you can use AI features to refine it. Voiceovers and Avatars are a added plus. Surprise by the platform's ability read data and come up with guide text
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support for starter plan is negligible. If you have a question, you'll have to go via chat window which can delay communication. There should be a CSM to talk to
