The Smart Plan is online-only, with downloads and company leads available separately through purchased credits. Extra downloads beyond the allowance still use credits sold separately.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How much does one download cost in credits, and what is the smallest credit purchase?
Credit costs vary by file type: a dataset (.xlsx) uses 20 credits, a dashboard (.pptx) uses 50 credits, and a report (.docx) uses 70 credits. The smallest credit purchase is 50 credits. Credits stay valid for 365 days and only work while your subscription is active.
What happens if I exceed my monthly download allowance or API request limit on the Business Plan?
The Business Plan includes 10 tables, 10 dashboards, and 10 reports per month, plus 10,000 API requests monthly. Downloads beyond that allowance use credits sold separately. If you reach the API request limit, further calls return a monthly limit error until the next cycle.
What can I do with API access that I cannot do with online-only access?
The Business Plan API lets you pull trade, production, price, and consumption data directly into your own applications or data pipelines. You query specific products and regions and get results as structured data. The Smart Plan has no API access, so you work only through the online interface.
