Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support with Hanwei. JuiceFS is a high-performance distributed file system designed for cloud native and released under the Apache 2.0 open source license. Providing complete POSIX compatibility, almost all object storage can be connected locally and used as massive local disks, and can also be mounted for reading and writing on different hosts across platforms and regions at the same time. PostgreSQL 14 is open-source relational database management system. It offers enhanced performance, scalability, and security features. With improvements in indexing, query optimization, and parallel processing, it enables faster data retrieval and analysis. t provides reliability for juicefs
Highlights
- JuiceFS adopts an architecture that separates "data" and "metadata" to achieve a distributed design of the file system.
- The file data itself will be split and stored in object storage (such as Amazon S3), while metadata can be stored in various databases such as Redis, MySQL, TiKV, SQLite, etc.
- For AWS, JuiceFS supports mounting object storage s3 on Amazon EC2.
