Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
Muvi Flex uses a contract model built around three plan tiers: Standard, Professional, and Enterprise. Each tier bundles a monthly allowance of bandwidth, storage, and encoding at no extra charge, with the included amounts rising as you move up the tiers. Four usage-based dimensions cover consumption beyond those allowances. You pay per GB for extra bandwidth, extra storage, and extra encoding, and per view for DRM-protected playback. This lets you start with a set allowance and pay only for what you use above it.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Bandwidth is metered by the total file size of each video streamed, multiplied by the number of viewers. Once you pass your plan's monthly included bandwidth, extra usage is charged per GB. For example, a one-hour HD video uses about 2GB per viewer.
The DRM charge applies per view of content protected by digital rights management encryption. DRM secures video against downloading, screen scraping, and unauthorized sharing. You pay per DRM-protected view, so this charge scales with how many viewers watch your protected content.
Bandwidth, storage, encoding, and DRM view charges bill independently once you pass each included allowance. Bandwidth usually dominates for high-traffic viewing, since it scales with both file size and viewer count. Storage grows with library size, and encoding applies as you process new uploads.
