Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. The 18 options map to standard AWS instance sizes across two families: t2 and t3 burstable instances (medium through 2xlarge) and m3 and m4 general-purpose instances (large through 16xlarge). Larger sizes carry more CPU and memory, so their hourly rate scales up accordingly. Pick the instance that fits your Metabase workload. Billing is usage-based with no upfront commitment, so charges accrue only while an instance runs. Software support from Hossted is bundled into the hourly rate.

Software charges accrue per hour only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops the hourly software charge. Note that stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the Hossted software meter counts running time only.

Usage instructions
After deployment, you can access your application at http://<public IP>. (It might take up to 15 minutes to be run). Default username is admin and password is Instance ID. Also you can to connect to instance with SSH to get exact product URL and credentials, it will be shown at login as Message of the day and can be read in /etc/motd file
