This is a repackaged open-source software product with optional support from Meetrix.io. Keep costs low with pay-as-you-go pricing, while gaining access to expert assistance as needed.
Easily deploy Jitsi Meet with AWS infrastructure: a self-hosted, secure, and scalable video conferencing platform with built-in recording ideal for webinars, virtual classrooms, and enterprise-wide meetings. With Jitsi Meet, you control infrastructure, user data, and recorded content all from your own AWS account.
Our pre-configured AMI enables rapid deployment and smooth operation of Jitsi Meet, optimized for up to 250 concurrent users. The deployment includes a primary server with Jitsi Meet and Jitsi Video Bridge (JVB) installed, and a dedicated Jibri server for recording one meeting at a time. Recordings are automatically uploaded to your configured AWS S3 bucket. This setup also includes an AWS CloudWatch monitoring dashboard alongside all core Jitsi components.

Dimensions summary
You pay an hourly software fee that varies by the EC2 instance type you launch. The 16 options are not separate plans but the same 250-user video conferencing server offered across different instance sizes. The t3 and t3a families give burstable capacity, while the c5 and c5a families give steady compute. Larger sizes (xlarge, 2xlarge) carry a higher software fee than smaller ones (small, medium, large). This fee is billed alongside your separate AWS charges for the instance, storage, and data transfer. You pick the size that fits your expected load.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
No. The hourly price is the vendor's software and support fee only. AWS bills you separately for the EC2 instance, S3 storage for recordings, and data transfer. The first 100GB of monthly outbound data is free, then standard per-GB rates apply. Video traffic often drives much of the total bill.
The recording component (Jibri) runs on its own instance, separate from the meeting server. A t3a.medium is suggested for Jibri, while a c5.xlarge is suggested for the videobridge handling call traffic. Jibri needs at least 8GB RAM for 720p recording, which rules out smaller instance sizes.
The hourly fee accrues while the instance runs. The meeting server needs to stay up for scheduling and signaling, even between calls, so idle time still bills. Turning off the base server saves little. The videobridges, which handle call media, are where autoscaling reduces cost during quiet periods.

Jitsi Meet 250 concurrent user video conferencing setup with recording
The cloudformation script will deploy Jitsi Meet, 2 Jitsi Video Bridges and 1 Jibri recording server. This scripts using IAM role permission to push metrics to cloudwatch and push file to s3 bucket

The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
Click the "View Purchase Options" button. After that, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on "Accept Terms" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on "Continue to Configuration". Select your preferred region in "Configure this software" page and click "Continue to Launch" button. From the "Choose Action" dropdown menu, select "Launch CloudFormation", and then click "Launch". Fill the data and continue to deploy the product.
Access the application via a browser at http://<domain-name>. To generate SSL certificates first point dns to server, login to the instance and run certbot --nginx. To ssh, use port 22 and the username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is required for SSL generation. IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the meet and jibri services. IAM policy assigned to instances for push metrics to cloudwatch dashboard, push recordings to S3 bucket and change volume type of jibris.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jitsi for group video calls: it's very simple and intuitive and saves me from having to meet people in person. I appreciate the simplicity and the ability to mute video or audio live when I need privacy. Starting to use it is also very easy: just download it and register; I would give it 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I encounter small bugs when clicking on the link to enter the room. I would improve the experience from clicking the link to entering the room by fixing these bugs; otherwise, it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Jitsi, I solve the problem of having to meet people in person.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jitsi for online meetings and video conferencing. I like that it's free, easy to use, and doesn't require an account to join meetings. The browser-based access and screen-sharing features are very practical. I also appreciate the focus on privacy and data control, which allows for self-hosting. The initial setup was super easy; I just opened Jitsi Meet in my browser and started a meeting without installing additional software. Interface could feel a bit more polished. Better controls and a smoother experience during larger meetings would be helpful. For larger meetings, better participant management, moderation tools and smoother performance would make the experience more efficient

What do you like best about the product?
I love Jitsi as a privacy-focused alternative to commercial video platforms. It solves key video conferencing pain points by eliminating account and app friction, addressing data privacy concerns, removing vendor lock-in and licensing costs, and simplifying developer video integration. What stands out is how seamlessly Jitsi balances frictionless access with uncompromising user privacy. Unlike other platforms that trap users behind mandatory account creation, proprietary app downloads, and restrictive freemium tiers, Jitsi delivers a top-tier video experience that respects user autonomy. The setup was incredibly easy and user-friendly, so much so that I would recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the mobile experience inconsistent. Joining via a mobile web browser can be spotty. While the native Jitsi iOS/Android apps work well, having to download an app on mobile doesn't align with the 'zero-download' web experience I love on desktop.

I find that Jitsi solves my video conferencing pain points by eliminating account and app friction. It respects my privacy and autonomy while providing a top-tier video experience.
