This is a repackaged open-source software product with optional support from Meetrix.io. Keep costs low with pay-as-you-go pricing, while gaining access to expert assistance as needed.
Easily deploy Jitsi Meet with AWS infrastructure: a self-hosted, secure, and scalable video conferencing platform with built-in recording ideal for webinars, virtual classrooms, and enterprise-wide meetings. With Jitsi Meet, you control infrastructure, user data, and recorded content all from your own AWS account.
Our pre-configured AMI enables rapid deployment and smooth operation of Jitsi Meet, optimized for up to 250 concurrent users. The deployment includes a primary server with Jitsi Meet and Jitsi Video Bridge (JVB) installed, and a dedicated Jibri server for recording one meeting at a time. Recordings are automatically uploaded to your configured AWS S3 bucket. This setup also includes an AWS CloudWatch monitoring dashboard alongside all core Jitsi components.

Jitsi Meet 250 concurrent user video conferencing setup with recording
The cloudformation script will deploy Jitsi Meet, 2 Jitsi Video Bridges and 1 Jibri recording server. This scripts using IAM role permission to push metrics to cloudwatch and push file to s3 bucket
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
Click the "View Purchase Options" button. After that, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on "Accept Terms" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on "Continue to Configuration". Select your preferred region in "Configure this software" page and click "Continue to Launch" button. From the "Choose Action" dropdown menu, select "Launch CloudFormation", and then click "Launch". Fill the data and continue to deploy the product.
Access the application via a browser at http://<domain-name>. To generate SSL certificates first point dns to server, login to the instance and run certbot --nginx. To ssh, use port 22 and the username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is required for SSL generation. IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the meet and jibri services. IAM policy assigned to instances for push metrics to cloudwatch dashboard, push recordings to S3 bucket and change volume type of jibris.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jitsi is easy to use and doesn't lag, which is really helpful when working with clients who prefer this app. It's straightforward and doesn't confuse me, even during international conferences. I also found the initial setup to be very easy, making it accessible and quick to get started. I switched from Google Meet because Jitsi is more user-friendly across different countries.

Limited advance feature. Nevertheless, still the best

Jitsi provides secure video conferencing that's easy to use, even for clients. It doesn't lag and is simple to set up, unlike Google Meet, which can be complicated internationally.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
I love this platform for its simplicity and user friendly interface. The best part about this platform is the portability. The mobile application works smoothly and supports high quality video conferencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, I always feel that white board assist a lot in online conferences and meeting in efficient communication of ideas with teams. I wish that this platform have a readily available buttor for white board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video conferencing is really easy using this application and with availability of Android application, the accessibility is enhanced greatly. It allows to efficiently communicate with teams with most of the necessary feature available in this platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Jitsi is open-source and privacy-focused. The end-to-end encryption gives me peace of mind for sensitive discussions. Being able to self-host the platform (if needed) or use the hosted version without tracking is a significant advantage over big-tech competitors. The audio quality is generally crisp and clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile application experience can be a bit hit-or-miss compared to the desktop browser experience. Occasionally, screen sharing can cause a lag in the video feed if the internet connection isn't perfect. I would also love to see better built-in whiteboard tools for collaboration during meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a secure, private communication channel that doesn't harvest user data. This benefits our team by allowing us to discuss sensitive projects without worrying about corporate surveillance or data mining. It is a cost-effective solution that provides enterprise-grade security for free.
