What do you like best about the product?
Katalon is a great testing tool nowadays because it has everything a quality engineers need for complete automation projects, even the free version is having very useful features.
It's super easy to pick up, you can start using it quickly without a deep learning curve. The community support is excellent, so getting help with any problem is fast and simple. It works seamlessly with our existing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

I am hoping that a few more key features would be included in the free version.

Katalon is a comprehensive tool that handles every kind of testing need web, mobile, API, and even desktop applications. It’s an all-in-one package, which means you don't have to use and maintain different software solutions just to test different platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Before Katalon, testing different things like websites or apps required different tools. Katalon changes that by combining everything into one platform for all your automation needs, including web, desktop, and API. It is easy to integrate and set up a connection with other tools like CI tool. Katalon comes with a free version that has all the necessary features to start with automation. New users can get started easily with help from its large online community & customer support. Katalon is leader in testing industry for automation due to its ease of use, ease of implementation of new automation design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly no negative point I have observed as of now. Only pricing is factor if you look for advance features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Katalon simplifies things by providing one single platform for all automation testing, rather than having to manage multiple separate tools. This reduces unnecessary complexity because all web, desktop, and API automation happens in one place, making it easier to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Katalon Platform's AI capabilities, which streamline the automation process and reduce the need for extensive coding skills. The auto-healing feature particularly stands out as it redefines and enhances the reliability of automated tests by compensating for changes in the application under test, ensuring minimal disruption. Additionally, the initial setup is very easy and the software is lightweight, which made the transition smooth when switching from Visual Studio to Katalon Platform. This ease of use has been incredibly beneficial in making automation accessible for those with less technical expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience issues with the record and play feature not working in the latest Chrome browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Katalon Platform to automate tests with minimal coding skills, leveraging AI capabilities like auto-healing and predefined steps for efficiency.

Katalon platform free version is useful to start with, however, has limited features. Self healing capability is really helpful but sometime it does not work properly
