What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it automatically captures the data we enter in the testing window. It auto-captures everything required, including the XPaths and the input data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It becomes difficult to check results when I have to go through each test case one by one, and I disliked this about Katalon, especially when there is a very high number of test cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets you quickly automate test cases: after you record them once, it automatically captures the steps for future runs.

What do you like best about the product?
I am Selenium guy and learnt to code in traditional way. Recently started exploring some other tool which can reduce my maintenance over the time and also designing an automation for new use case is easy. That's where I find Katalon very useful. Its super easy to automate new scenarios, and maintain the existing one if there are changes in the application. Not just that, It's super easy to start with, you can start using it quickly without a deep learning. The community support is great, It works with our existing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we get few more premium features in free version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved my requirements that designing a new script for new use cases and maintain those with less efforts in longer run. Katalon helped me achieving all these.

The UI is still not very user-friendly, and sometimes it crashes when I open my project.

Low-Code Test Automation with Room for Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
I like Katalon Platform's low code automation because I don't need to be a full programmer to create test cases, which speeds up test creation. The interface is easy to use, making it more accessible. Setting it up is also easy compared to other tools, as we can run a setup file or download the release from Git. Katalon Platform supports mobile automation and API testing, which was a key reason for switching from Playwright and Cypress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Katalon should let you open multiple projects, just like developers do with different windows. The code merge feature should work perfectly, and the Git integration could use some improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Katalon Platform solves regression testing issues in mobile apps and supports mobile, API, and web testing. I like that it doesn't require full programming skills, speeds up test creation, and has an easy-to-use interface with a simpler setup compared to other tools.
